Chapter 3 - Silent Sacrifice

In the morning, the sun shines so bright, Wei woke up and he looked for his mother and father. Wei goes out of the room and he saw his mother cooking food for breakfast. What's cookin' Ma? Wei smiled to her mother. That smells so good ma. hehehe I want to eat that after you cooked it ma, OK? Wei smiled again. Sure my son you can have it all if you want to. And Yue smiled back to Wei. The front door opens and Feng comes in. Oh! my young Wei is awake, Let's go outside, the festival is already beginning. Julia is going to sing a praise song to the goddess of the sun Eos. Wei smiles and laughs. Wei changes his dress to Festival Outfit. Men are wearing pointy shoes, white pants with a long red robe up to the knees. While women wears a long sleeved dress that goes down to the knees also with a long skirt and pointy shoes. Pa! come on let's see her sing. Nagging his father to go quickly to the town square Wei is very happy that her childhood friend is always the one who is singing praise songs to Eos. Feng and Wei had a short walk to the town square where Julia is about to start singing. The priest on the altar lights up three torches in front of Julia. The priest speaks. The three torches symbolizes Love, Friendship and strength, for all we know without these three important traits we will never achieve anything in our lives, we wish that these three important traits will remain in ourselves. We are praying to you goddess Eos, enlighten us with your blessings. You can sing now Julia. The crowd can't wait to here the voice of Julia. Wei smiled. Pa? would you agree that Julia is a very cute girl? Feng puts his left arm to the shoulder of Wei. Young Wei, she is really beautiful she resembles the goddess Eos herself. Anyone would fall for her, with her melodious voice and her breathtaking smile is  the best.  Julia started singing. With her melodious voice, all the people from the town's square are allured by the lovely voice. Few minutes later  Julia finished singing. Wei shouted,. Julia you're the best! Julia heard Wei, She looked where Wei is standing. after looking to the faces of the crowd, he saw Wei and his father Feng standing at the far end of the town's square near the bell's tower. Wei is waving his arms to Julia. Julia smiled to Wei.

After the prayers to Eos, Julia goes down the altar and looked for Wei. Wei is running towards Julia, Wei hugged Julia and Julia hugged Wei back. Feng speaks. Julia you have such a wonderful voice. Listening to you is like I'm sailing into a wave less ocean. Julia replied. Thank you sir Feng. I will go back home Wei, Invite Julia later to have a dinner with us. Wei replied, Thank you Pa. Wei asked Julia, Julia can i invite you to have a dinner with us later? Julia replied. Sure Wei, i love to. Then Julia smiled. Alright Wei we expect you later for dinner, enjoy the festival celebration. Feng walked back home. While they're walking they saw a shop of talismans and gemstones. Hey Julia look at these, they shines so bright. While Wei is looking at the shinning stones, the store keeper speaks. We have variety of gemstones, you can buy them cheaply. Wei I'm going to buy this talisman necklace. That stone represents bravery and it's also a good luck charm lady. Julia asked. How much is it?. I will give you a special discount lady because you sang so good few moments ago, I will give it to you for twenty arson. Julia picked the necklace and gives 20 arson to the store keeper. There you go  lady i packed it up for you. Julia goes to Wei. Wow there are so many shiny gemstones Julia, look at them, they're so beautiful. Julia smiled while Wei is so amazed by them. I will buy this gem mister! this one this one here. The store keeper approaches Wei. That gemstone is the Dragon's Promise Gem. Are you sure you want to buy that? Story tells that if a man had given this dragon promise to her love they will be on the dragon lord's trial. Wei interrupted the store keeper. How much is it mister? The store keeper replied. I think you do not need to know the characteristics of that gem. Alright then it's worth one hundred copper coins. Wei's facial expression suddenly changes, like he's disappointed. Ohhhh! all my earnings will come to this. Here's my one hundred copper coins mister. Julia asked Wei. Wei isn't it a little bit too much? what i mean is you already spend too much. The store keeper came back from the cabinet. Here you go i also packed it up for you. The store keeper handed the packed gemstone to Wei. Thanks mister, I'm sure this is good. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Let's go Julia, let's go take a look at those stores. As Wei and Julia walks out of the store. Thank you young lads for buying to my store, buy again in the next festival celebration!. Wei and Julia walked and move from store to store. They didn't notice that time is passing by so quickly. They we're giggling and laughing while enjoying the festival. While they're walking they went to the seaside, there they walked towards a big rock and sat down. The sea splashed them with a big wave. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA looks like the sea is happy that we're beside him. Wei pull out the gem he bought from the festival. Julia I will give this to you as my promise of friendship to you, that no matter what i will never forget you, we you promise me also? Suddenly Julia cried. Since we were little, we always share our thoughts, happy and sorrowful moments with each other. I never imagined that im this speacial to you Wei, (sniff)(sniff) because you are so special to me also, just like the way you treat me. Wei hugged Julia and says. I promise you Julia with this gemstone, till the day my life ends you will always be the greatest gift that ever comes to my life. I love you Julia. Wei kissed Julia. As they closed their eyes the sea waves splashed them again. Julia smiled. Look at us we're all soaking wet. Wei i'll give you this lucky charm, may it bring good luck tou you always. Julia handed down the charm to Wei, and Wei handed down the gemstone to Julia.

Suddenly................

A huge explosion bangs the village. Look Wei! the village is on flames! Julia let's head back to the village. Wei took the hand of Julia and ran into the village. While on their way to the village Wei and Julia are worried to their parents and relatives at the village. Meanwhile Feng and Yue began to take the people of the village to the forest. This is a foul beast Yue please be careful. Feng stands in front of the ravaging dragon and concentrates his chi on to his sword. Foul beast of darkness! Know me! I am Feng! the soul who will take your foul spirit to the underworld!. Feng's sword is engulfed with shinning aura. Yue come, and assist me. The people of the village entered the forest and escaped. Wei and Julia arrived at the village. MA! PA! Wei shouted. Get out of here Wei! me and your mother can handle this foul creature! Yue cast her magic to be on spirit form, and goes inside the body of Feng.

Captain Albert is on his horse rushed on his way to the village. Albert is thinking................ (if what the researcher say's is true then Wei is one with the chosen (Sudden flashback from the moment that his researcher told him the information that has been collected) The researches says that those signs are the signs that you are a candidate of the High Spirits which will lead you to be the chosen of the stars) I will come for you Wei stay alive, bring peace back to this world). HYYAAAH! HYYYAAAH! Faster you damn horse!. Albert pushed his horse more and more.

At the Castle, Luca and Chan began to watch what's happening to the village by the Orb of Many Eyes. It is a Orb that is composed of many eyes inside it. The owner will be able to see any place he wants to look at. Let's see What's happening. The eyes inside the orb began merging till a single eye began to appear, the eye began to open, and the view of a destroyed village began to appear. HAHAHAHAHAHA Luca Laughs......... he saw Feng, Julia and Wei being chased by the Black Dragon. Well well well what do we have here? The coward general Feng being chased by the dragon. Chan speaks. who are the two youngsters with him? I don't mind Chan they're just villagers. He's always a coward, running like a pig.

Wei take Julia out of here, me and your mom willbuy some time. But Pa! i will fight with you. Wei we always thought you to be good. Albert arrived, Albert good timing, take Wei and Julia out of here, you know what destiny will it be for Wei. Albert grabs Wei, and Julia rides with Albert. Wei is screaming, PA! MA! no!. Master Feng i will hide Wei, I will take good care of them. Albert began casting a teleportation spell. Feng is getting tired. the dragon flew up high and began to gather dark energy to it's mouth. Wei you are destined to be the Dragon, live and fulfill the prophecy to end this chaos. We will be proud of you Wei, me and your mom. The dragon released the drak energy towards Feng and Albert. I need more time Master Feng. This will be my last action. "calling all spirits of nature come to me" Feng jumps towards the Dark energy shielding Albert. Albert then teleported. Tears suddenly falls down the eyes of Feng. We Love you Wei. A huge explosion takes over.
