"Come here to Paa, honey!! I'll make you milkshake. " Arnav called his 3 year old daughter to the kitchen.
"No Paa, whel iz maa? Aashu wants Maa!!" Aashu said stubbornly.
"Aashu, Maa is at her office baccha!!! She will come with Chanda Mama." Arnav tried to make his daughter understand. This is their daily banter from last week. Khushi has an important event at her hotel which is making her work till evening and that's why Arnav is taking half day to stay with their daughter. After Aashu turned two and half, Khushi rejoined the hotel as Aashu used to sleep half of the day and if not she has been taken care by Mami, Garima and Buaji . But she needed Khushi at noon as that was the time she remains hyperactive.
"Aashu, didn't i tell you that you shouldn't be stubborn, specially about maasi. I told you right that she is busy making Aashu's big doll. She's preparing you a surprise and you shouldn't spoil her surprise." Zeeshan whispered in Aashu's ear. Zeeshan is Akash and Payal's 6 years old son. He is the only one who can control Aashu when she starts to make scene with her stubbornness. Zeeshan has stayed by Aashu's side like her shadow. He is truly a big brother to her.
"Now lets go to chachu, we'll have chocolate milkshake, Okay?" he asked her.
"Ottey!" she agreed cutely.
It's been 7 years till Nani's deed has been out in open. They have moved on but still the pain of being backstabbed by a family member. Arnav Khushi's relationship has grown beautifully. Khushi has done hotel management after she desired to continued her studies, now she and Payal run the hotel on their own. Anjali also works as an accountant in a small firm. After the revelations she understood that unknowingly she was also holding grudge against Khushi but she grew out of her baseless grudge and worked toward her future.
"Arnav, tomorrow is the day." Mama came to the kitchen where Arnav was preparing Milkshake for the kids.
"I know Mama, but she will be invisible to me and Khushi and rest assured i won't prohibit Aashu from mingling with her. Aashu is her great granddaughter. You all can go tomorrow , but don't expect anything from me."
"I know beta."Mamaji said.
FLASHBACK
While Arnav, Khushi were in their room, Mama confronted Nani but she showed no sign of remorse.
"Okay, Maa if that's your wish. You will get the punishment of what you did." said Mama with his eyes moist, he called the police.
