Author’s note: Hi everyone! Please tell me what you think so far… I haven’t written much but I value opinions and all that fun stuff… anyways. Comment and if you like it fan and vote!

When Anastasia (the main character… that’s her name BTW) refers to ‘creatures’ she means anything besides humans, like shifters, werewolves, witches, Fairies, Vampires, etc.

Chapter 1

    Hiding from werewolves is one of the hardest things you can do.  They are fast runners, and have the best sense of smell you will find on any animal in the world. The only reason they can’t find me, is because I’m not JUST a werewolf. I am many things, I never knew my parents so I cannot be sure of exactly how many different creatures’ blood is running through my veins, but I know for sure I am part shifter, fairy, werewolf, and witch.

   My adopted parents don’t know any of this though, if they found out I would have to wipe away parts of their memory, and I don’t want to do that because I could quite possibly, accidently wipe out everything in their life. Basically they would remember nothing at all. They would be like newborn babies, not knowing how to do anything.

   Only one person knows the whole story. My best friend Alyssa, she’s a fairy but fairies are honest and nice people. I have never heard of an evil fairy before, and I made her promise not to tell anybody, and pure fairies literally can’t break a promise. I can’t let any of the other werewolves or creatures at my school know though, so besides her, I am alone. In this world there are a lot of power hungry people. People that would try to use me for their own evil desires, and people that would kill others to get to me. This is why I am running from the pack. They’re not an evil pack, they are some of the most wonderful people alive, in fact the only reason that they’re looking for me, is because their alpha is in love with me. His name is Kyle, and we are soul mates. I don’t want him to get hurt though, I couldn’t stand it if anything happened to him or his family, so I try to only shift into my wolf form when nobody is around, and if they catch me, I confuse my scent with magic, and I transform into a fairy or a different animal.

They will never find me, unless I let them, because when I am human I stay away from them and I change my scent so that it smells nothing like my actual scent which smells like vanilla and berries. When we are at school I put charms on Kyle so that he doesn’t feel the bond of being my mate, in fact at school he hates me and bullies me. It’s not his fault though, he can’t help but come near me because I’m his mate, but he doesn’t like me because of the charms. The only time he does feel the bond is when we’re both in wolf form, because that is when the bond is at its purest, and there’s nothing I can really do about it, but as long as he doesn’t see any of my mating marks when I’m in human form, I’m okay. Let me explain that… almost every single creature except for humans has a soul mate. When I first saw Kyle in my wolf form all of the different creatures in me claimed him as mine by burning a mark into my skin somewhere. My fairy put a wreath of flowers around my left ankle, my witch put a crescent moon right over my heart, my wolf put a paw print on my waste, and my shifter put a simple heart on the underside of my wrist. Kyle probably got a paw print in the same spot of as mine because usually werewolf mates get identical marks.

And now that that’s all explained… let’s get on with the story…

I sat alone at lunch, like usually. Alyssa had a different lunch hour than me, so we only hung out after school, and on weekends. This, of course, made lunch time the perfect time for Kyle and his friends to come and torment me. I love him, but honestly sometimes he pisses me off so much!!!
