Nala's POV

It's been two years since I've moved to Cali. I've made it places on YouTube, by myself, and sometimes with my best friend Andrea. I can really trust her, but no one else. I've never been the same really since high school. I'm almost singer. I sing mostly covers. I just got done uploading my cover of Habits by Tove Lo. Then I posted on Twitter for a following spree. I've been verified on Twitter, Instagram, and Vine. I've just never went to any conventions. Just wasn't my thing. I had gotten out of the shower and decided it was a lazy day. I changed into booty shorts, with a tank top, and a sweatshirt. I'm just chilling by myself today, and tomorrow. I went downstairs. My sister and my parents insisted that I get a house. They bought me a two story house. The basement was a game room, with an Xbox, pool table, and a air hockey table. Then on the first floor all the way down the hallway is a little movie theater. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom in that hallway. Then on the second floor, there is three more bedrooms, with a bathroom in each bedroom. My bedroom was the biggest. I had an attic above my room. I can pull down the ladder, and my little secluded area up there. One wall is a bright blue for making videos. Then the rest are splatter paint wallpaper. My desk is by the window, then on the other side I have a TV with an Xbox, and three beanbag chairs. The fluffy purple one was my favorite. I had modern furniture and electronics, since my parents insisted. I didn't want them too, but they did. My sister knew me well because there is a mini fridge up there with my favorites, plus a cabinet for snacks. I have the fridge filled with Arizona green tea. The cabinet has gummy worms, candy bars, and different types of chips. I had the new iPhone 6 plus. I listened to music in my headphones most of the time I went in public. My case on my phone was black with encrusted diamonds on parts of it. Just as I sat down, my phone started vibrating in my pocket. I pulled it out and looked at it. Unknown number.

"Hello?" I said shyly.

"Is this Nala? Nala Silvers?"

"Who's asking?"

"Well this is Chad Grier. I have discussed with our team about adding you on our tour. It's a convention we go to called MagCon. You will be joined there by Nash and Hayes Grier, Taylor Caniff, and Cameron Dallas. Would you like to come?" Those names sounded familiar.

"Uh, I don't know. I'm not really good with crowds."

"Oh come on! You'll do great. The fans are very excited to see you. If you do want to come, there is a ticket for you at the airport. We're going to New York. We leave in a few days. So pack warm! I hope you join us. Thank you for your time."

"I will think about it." I said then we hung up.

Well this could be really good. Or really bad. Just as that thought went away, my best friend Andrea called me.

"Hey."

"Hay bae bae! You want me to come over? We could hang out like we do every weekend."

"Sure! Should I get 90210 ready on Netflix?" I said with a little laugh.

"Yes! I can be there in 10. Booty shorts and sweatshirts?"

"You know me so well." I said with a little smile.

"Okay. I'll be there. Love you Nala!"

"Love you too Andrea." I said then hung up.

A great weekend with my only friend. My best friend.

-Chapter one of many? I think so.
