Joey pointed the gun the Hayes' head.Book kept telling him to stop to were it got to the point were they are on the ground wrestling.suddenly we hear the gun go off making us all freeze I look at Joey and blood was coming out of his shoulder "untie Hayes we have to get him to the hospital" I said picking him up.we ran to the ER and they put him on a bed.I began to freak out,my hands are shaking and I am holding back tears.the officers came up and started to ask us questions "how did this happen""we were playing with my dad's gun and it went off"Hayes said which shocked us all "y'all shouldn't be playing with guns,you guys are old enough-""look I just watched my brother get shot and I had to carry him here so I don't need a fucking lecture about something I have been told since I was 4" I said which shocked the officers.they walked away "shit I need to call Dal" I said grabbing my phone."what do you want jet""Joey got shot""what ""Joey got shot so get your ass over here""I don't fuckin care""he's your fucking little brother ""again I don't care""you're a piece of shit brother" I said than hung up.I turned to Hayes and I did something I never thought I would do.I hugged him.he wrapped his arms around me and rested his head on my shoulder "thank you for lying for us,I'm sorry your dad is abusive,you can stay at place when he's like that""I'm sorry for hurting all of you guys,I shouldn't have done it". I heard my name called by my mom "he's ok,you can see him".We walked in "hey Joey""hey guys".we talked and than most people had to go home.I fell asleep in mouth's lap in the hospital chair.
