Haro stood there, immediately sniffing Val on her. He grabbed her, almost slinging her to the side. “You have a fucking thing with a hellhound now?” He hissed loudly. She stared, gripping her rib. “Get out. I don’t have time for a fucking baby.” She groaned, turning her back. “Where is he then?” He asked. “Who?” She responded. “The lad who’s got you all soft and lovey.” He grabbed her arm, having a tight grip which hurt Angell. “Get off me-” She hissed loudly, yanking her arm back. She had a bruise which ringed around her arm, feeling pain from it. “Tough luck. You know you can’t be like that with a different breed.” He had a stern tone. “Oh, says the one who dated a fucking hellhound himself.” She looked to her arm, whimpering slightly. “Get out.” Val growled, appearing at the hallways end. Haro stared. “Or what?” He snickered. She quickly got annoyed as the two started arguing, grabbing the curtain. She pulled it aside, Haro’s hand getting burned by the sunlight. He groaned in pain, moving away. “What the fuck?!” He hissed at her, clutching his hand. “Get the fuck out of my house.” She opened the curtains wider, her shoulder burning at the sunlight. She moved out of it, Haro quickly leaving and hiding under the roof. She closed the curtains, her shoulder immediately healing. She looked to Val, seeing him give her a sad look. She walked over, wrapping her arms over his shoulders and pulling him to her for a hug. She noticed his arms travel to her waist, wrapping around it to keep her close. His head burying in the gap between her shoulder and neck. She felt his breathing against her, immediately her heart picking up pace. “Why is your heart-” She stayed quiet when he talked, admired by the feeling of him being comfortable. He moved so his cheek rested on her shoulder, looking at her. “So that’s what you are.”
He whispered in awe. “Softie.” He laughed, moving his head away, his arms still wrapped around her waist. He looked at her. She scoffed. “I-” She heard a knock, looking at the door in annoyance. “We can’t be left alone for two minutes.” She pulled away, almost stomping to the door. She pulled it open, staring at Darios and Gillian who had Haro’s collar in one hand. “Is this your personal vampire?” Gillian snickered. Darios sighed. “He was by your door, we came to check on-” The two noticed the oonsies, Gillian bursting into laughter. She rolled her eyes. “Shut up. I look hotter than you all combined.” She joked. Val looked, shrugging. She eyed him. “I now feel insulted.” She face palmed, giggling slightly. After the two calmed down, Darios spoke. “But. He’s got a burn on him and he wouldn’t stop staring at the door.” Gillian threw Haro in. “I’m sure he was Lila’s boyfriend. Before they broke up.” He laughed. Haro got up, hissing at them. “Yeah, I did that to stop Val or Haro killing the other.” She murmured. “Yeah, lucky your a girl.” Haro almost growled. She laughed at the growl attempt. “Even a fucking Lycan would hit me carelessly.” She sighed. “I take it your fine, judging by your outfits.” Darios chuckled. “Yeah, uh.” She looked at Val then Gillian. “How about you two catch up, I need a work with Darios real quick.” She murmured. Gillian nodded slowly, more curious about what she wanted to know. She waited for the two to move to the living room. She motioned for Haro to leave, Jose walking over to Darios and Angell. “Right so, you know how Val’s uh, whatever you call it with me.” She said, almost stumbling over her words. Darios nodded. “He’s just a bit clingy. I’m not saying it bothers me but, there’s some times I won’t be able to let him sleep in the room.. For example, when I’m in a-” Darios interrupted her. “Don’t need details about your private time.” He snickered. She sighed out of relief. “Okay, but is it normal?” She folded her arms. “Well it’s the first time something like this has happened. We’re not all too sure. He’ll probably get back to normal soon.” He smiled. “Okay, do you wanna come in? I don’t mind making food.” She had a subtle smile. “Sure.” Darios walked in, Jose growling.
She walked to the kitchen, calling Jose who immediately came to her side. He meowed loudly, jumping onto the counter as she grabbed some plates and two cups for her and Haro. “Wanna know what sucks?” Gillian randomly appeared sat on one of the chairs with Val and Darios beside him, Val sat on the other end and Darios in the middle. Haro stood at the end of the counter, staring at Jose who was staring at Gillian. “Yeah, having men in my house which are idiots.” She chimed, joking. “Ha ha. Anyway, you vampires can’t eat anything.” He chuckled. “Which means when you run out of people to drain blood from. You’ll starve and become weak.” He murmured. “She’s a pure born. It’ll take twice as long for her to get weak.” Haro huffed. Gillian poked at Jose’s fluffy tail, Jose hissing loudly. “Jose.” She looked back, having meat and placing it on the plates. Her nose twitched, smelling the blood. “His name is Jose?” Val said, confused. She nodded. “Yeah. I got him a while ago. He was one of the older ones, I uh. Wanted to make sure he got a happy life so.” She cleared her throat. “I don’t like it.” Gillian huffed. “Tough. She loves it.” Haro hissed at Jose. Jose walked over, clawing at Haro’s face. Angell looked, whilst the three laughed. She pulled Jose off, snickering at Haro’s scarred face. She put Jose on her shoulder as there was enough room for him. She filled the cups with blood, handing one to Haro. She leaned against the counter as Jose sat beside her. “What’s this pure born thing then? I know Sonja and that new elder David is one. Apparently you aswell.” Darios spoke. Haro looked. “Yeah, I think I know her father.” She grimaced at the word “father”. Val looking at her with a saddened look. “I’d suggest you to change, you look like fools.” Haro smirked. “Val can change first. It’s better I make sure you don’t cause fights with these two.” She muttered. Val nodded, getting up and walking down the hallway. She watched before looking to Darios and Gillian who was still waiting for an answer. Haro smirked wider. “Why did you pull a face when I said father?” He questioned. She grimaced again, looking at the blood. Darios looked at Haro. “I don’t think we need to know about her fath-” He got interrupted. “You wanted to know about pure borns.” Haro murmured. “Angell.” He said a bit louder as if she didn’t hear him.
“Because-” She stopped herself, glaring at Haro. “Go on?” He waited patiently. She looked at Darios and Gillian then got off the counter, looking at Haro. “Because my “father” was never there which hurt me. Pretty badly. And. Even though my outsides got better. My insides never did.” She hissed. “It’s a person, get over it.” He said, obviously trying to annoy her. She automatically frowned before speaking. “He never cared for me.” She said with a hurt tone. “Why don’t you love your own family Angell?” He proceeded to go on with questions, Darios looking to Angell who clearly was getting upset. “I wanted too. God damn, I really did!” She stopped herself, her bottom lip trembling as if she was gonna cry. Haro stayed quiet. “Pussy.” He muttered. Gillian stood up, Val walking in. “Watch your words man.” He scolded Haro. “Oh, you’ve barely known her for a year.” Haro hissed at Gillian. Val growled, moving to Haro. “Shut up.” He turned to look at Angell. “Your too soft for a fucking dog. Get over yourself.” He rolled his eyes. She walked closer, raising her hand to slap him. “I will personally burn you on a stake if you keep on.” She scolded, Gillian snickering. “I’d enjoy that.” He murmured. She noticed Val was quiet, looking to see his eyes white. She went quiet as well, Darios looking. “Why would Damon be calling you now?” He asked, a bit confused. “I don’t know, it better be important mind.” She huffed. “I’ll take him there. Do you want him to leave?” Darios motioned to Haro who was rubbing his left cheek. “Vampires can’t go out in the sun. I’ll make him wait outside though.” She huffed. She looked to Val then Darios. “Go on, let me know if a problem occurs, I’ll come.” She sighed. She watched as Val walked out with Gillian and Darios, Haro slamming the door shut behind him.
