It was almost too hard to believe what was happening. I was kissing Kiara Carrera...and she didn't pull away.
The kiss started off soft and gradually got more and more passionate. I felt safe. Nothing could wrong. Because Kie was in my life. And I was with her.
We were together in an empty parking lot. The world felt like it had stooped. The kiss lasted a couple minutes until she pulled away and smiled. "You have no idea how long i've been wanting to do that" she whispered. "Me too.." I whispered back. As are foreheads were touching.
We were walking back hand in hand but Kie stopped. "Shit shit shit. Pope" she said annoyed. "Kie whats going on" I asked concerned. "Do you mind if we keep this a secret? Only for a little bit. I just need to talk to Pope" she asked. "Kie of course I don't mind, take as much time as you need " I reassured her.
She smiled at me and took my hand as we started walking again. Soon we got to my house. "So..what do you wanna do first?" I asked. Her eyes lit up as she reached her hand into the bag and pulled out a box cookies. I smiled at her and she giggled.
"Before we do it im gonna go get you one of my shirts to change into since our clothes are all wet" I said walking into my room and grabbing her a light grey oversized t-shirt. I handed it to her and smiled. "Thank you" she smiled back before heading into the bathroom to go change.
Shortly after she came back out. She looked so beautiful, she didn't have to change a thing about her. She didn't have to dress up to be beautiful. She could just put on a baggy shirt and put her hair in a bun and she'd still be the most beautiful girl in the world.
She took the cookies out of the box and we goofed around for awhile. After a little while we put them in the oven. "Wanna watch the movie you picked out while we wait for the cookies to be done?" she asked. "Sure what did you pick it out?" I responded.
"I know you probably saw it like a 100 times but Cinderella" she said. "I never even heard of that movie" I told her sounding surprised. "JJ. Come on. You had to of seen it" her voice sounding shocked. I shook my head. "Thats it. We're watching it right now" she demanded as she grabbed my arm and pulled me to the couch.
She put the disc in and grabbed a near by blanket. She sat down, put the blanket over us and cuddled up close to me with her head on my shoulder. We sat close to each other silent well watching the movie.
"Hey Kie?" I asked. She looked up at me with her sparkling eyes. "I love that your here but whats going on. You came running out of your house and something happened that's bad enough that you can't go home" I softly said. Her eyes started to fill with tears. "If I went home, they would send me to boarding school in the morning. I don't wanna go, I wanna stay here with you" she cried. "Hey, shh its gonna be ok. I won't let you leave" I told her as I hugged her tight and kissed her forehead.
"JJ please" she begged. "Kie no" I replied. "Why? We finished the movie" she argued back. "Kie. For the last time. I don't wanna do face masks" I said. "Please for me" she made puppy dog eyes. She was so adorable I couldn't say no. "Ughh fine" I finally gave in.
A huge smile grew upon her face. "Yay! Thank you! Thank you!" she cheered as she hugged me tightly.
After a long night of smiling and laughter we decided to go to bed especially considering Kie was half asleep. "Come on Kie its getting late" I softly said. She got up and we headed to my room. We laid down side by side with me holding her in my arms. "Goodnight J" she said about to fall asleep. I said goodnight back and shortly after we both fell asleep.
*Kiara POV*
I woke up and felt JJ's arms around me. I thought this hole thing was a dream it felt too good to be true. But it wasn't a dream. It was real. I was dating JJ Maybank. It was like a fairytale except I still had to talk to our best friend who's my ex.
"Morning" I softly said looking up at him. "Morning" he said pulling me closer to him. He fell asleep right after that so I slowly got up and walked to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and saw a carton of eggs. About fifteen minutes later I saw JJ walk out. "There you are I didn't see you when I woke up, it scared me" he said scratching the back of his head. "Aw you got scared" I teased him. "My bad for caring about you" he walked closer and gave me a soft kiss. I smiled well blushing.
After a little while we ate breakfast and hung out. It was nearing noon so we decided to meet up with the pouges at the château.
We held hands on the way there but quickly stopped and moved away from each other as we saw them on the porch. "Hey" JJ said walking onto the porch and making his way inside. "Hey guys" Sarah responded and looked up, "Kiara can I talk to you over there, in privite" she moved her eyes to the hammock.
We walked over and sat down. "Kiara I need you to tell me. Your wearing JJ's shirt. Did yall do it?!" her mouth hung open surprised in shock. "What? No. No. Sarah I swear. It started to rain and I got soaked so JJ let me borrow his shirt" I quickly answered. "Now can we please go inside" I eagerly said. She out her hands up, "ok ok fine."
We walked through the tall grass and up the stairs of the porch. I saw JJ on the couch drinking a beer with John B, Pope and Cleo. "I'm gonna go get a beer, be right back" I said walking inside and heading towards the kitchen.
*General POV*
Kiara walked inside and grabbed a cold beer from the fridge. She needed a break. From Sarah being in her business about her love-life and having to see Pope knowing she had to have a uncomfortable conversation with him.
She sat on the counter and took out her phone. She began to smile as she scrolled through photos on her phone. *pretend their jiara photos❤️"

Kiara heard footsteps getting louder. She quickly put her phone down just to see JJ. "Relax it's just me" JJ said. She sighed in relief. "What ya looking at?" he asked. She showed him her phone. "Kie you know I'm right out there?" he teased her. "I know you are but out there I can't do this" she told him as she slowly leaned in as they had a long passionate kiss. But what they never realized was someone saw the other whole thing. Cleo. She stood there in shock not knowing what to do.
