Paw Patrol Ninja Warrior is the first ever tournament like this (it was yet inspired by American Ninja Warrior and SASUKE). Before getting into the tournament, I'm sorry for the spelling mistakes, as English is not my first language and it's my second, while the one I speak in my everyday-life is French.
Paw Patrol Ninja Warrior 2013 (literally Season 1) was the first ever Paw Patrol Ninja Warrior. The broadcast aired on August 27, 2013 with a 2 hour timeslot. It featured the original 6 members of the Paw Patrol (Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Skye, Rubble, Zuma) and Ryder himself only, as others members didn't join yet.
Like in ANW or SASUKE, the competition was divided into 4 stages containing each a series of obstacle course and speed, strength, stamina challenges.
A competitor was eliminated if either they'd fall in the water below the obstacles, go off the course, or break a rule on a obstacle (like by ex. Rubble's stage 2 disqualification in 2016) . This season, the best competitors who dominated the course were Ryder and Chase. Others did well, but did not do that good as they both did.
It all started with Stage 1.
