"Dad? What are you doing?" Young Callum said as his dad knells to him before leaving the front door to the empty-looking house.

"Callum. Be a good boy for your mother." He says as he grabs the suitcase next to him and stands up to walk out.

"Dad! Dad, please!" Callum begs for his father to at least stop. He does not.

Years go by and Callum wakes up on his 19th birthday. The door to his room opens slowly and he slowly opens his eyes and looks at the door.

"No no shh close your eyes, quick close 'em," Amanda says as she is holding a wooden tray. Callum closes his eyes again and waits for a signal to open them. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to my precious boy Callum. Happy birthday to you." She sings in a soft and calm voice. "Open". Callum opens his eyes to see Amanda on the edge of his bed with the tray on her lap.

"What is this then?" Callum shifted up now sitting up. Amanda carries the tray from her lap on Callum's Bed. She stands up and starts to open the curtains to let the morning sunshine in.

"So today I rang your work and you have a whole week off, don't worry because you are still getting paid. The reason why is because you and I are going to meet someone special," Amanda says as she hurries back onto the bed. "I have already spoken to this person and they wanted to give you something to look forward to so they wrote this for you."

Callum looks at the tray and sees a bacon bagel, a cup of tea in a lion's mug, and an envelope. He takes a sip of the tea and then proceeds to open the envelope addressed to him. He rips the envelope in anticipation and unfolds the piece of paper. The letter reads:

"So it goes by faster than I thought. Well, I don't want to give too much about me right now but before we meet, I thought you need to know some stuff about this mysterious person writing to you right now. My name is Charlotte and I am 21 years old and I work full-time in TV production. It's something. Not the ideal thing I'd work but I get by. I have something you want to know about your father." Before Callum could continue reading, Amanda pulls two plane tickets from her back pocket and puts them on the tray. She slides the two tickets towards Callum and says:

"The answers you always wanted, you get today. At any point, you feel uncomfortable we can go straight back okay?"

Callum looks at the plane tickets and agrees to go. They spend the rest of the morning gathering up the things they need for the week away and as soon as they finish, the doorbell rings. Amanda opens the door in excitement and gathers up the suitcases.

Later that day, the two get off the plane and see's an odd-looking man holding up a sign with the "Frost" surname on it. The two follow the man wearing a blue suit with a black tie. He was nicely dressed but it did not suit his face at all, he didn't even speak throughout the whole car journey. When the two got to their hotel, they checked in. Apparently, the hotel was 5 stars and already paid by Charlotte in courtesy of them arriving and Callum's birthday. Callum has his own separate room and he saw this as a mini-vacation. He liked his room, he has his very own bathrobe and he felt like he was the richest man in the world. A knock comes on his door asking if he is ready to roll out. He opens the door and follows Amanda down the hall to the exit of the hotel.

"The letter said to meet her at the pier, it's just down here I believe.." Amanda directs to Callum as she aimlessly ponders around. The two go down a long flight of cobble stairs that takes them all the way down to the beach and the pier. Along this stairway was a selection of shops and beverages. When they finally get to the bottom of the stairs, the two start walking along the pier as the sun is setting right in front of them. It takes them a while to get to the end but when they do they see nothing but a beautiful sight. Amanda looks around while Callum stares in the distance.
