"I'm not picking you up after school if you miss the bus again."

Whenever Lynda spoke, it tasted like raw chocolate. The first bit sounded so sweet but the after-taste was horrible.

"and don't forget your math homework. that's three weeks late."

Whenever Lynda spoke I chose to ignore it. she said the same thing over and over again. she complains about having to do it too. if it was really that big of a deal, then why does she do it. I think she likes the atention.

"I'M SERIOUS! WHEN ARE YOU GONNA GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER?"

whenever Lynda spoke, I got scared. but I never let her know that.

I looked up at her, grabbed my lemon, and opened the door.

"I have to go." was my only response.

"your bus doesn't come for another 30 minutes." Richard tried to get out, but his words were silenced with the slam of the door.

Whenever Lynda spoke, I hated it.

By the time I get to the stop sign, i See them. there always there. And they're not hard to miss either. They have a long flowy skirt, it reminds me of aloe but it flutters like a hummingbird's wings. their top was odd though, an oversized pale yellow sweater. it didn't match whatsoever. I hated them for that. They were tall, much taller than me. and sunkissed to. beautiful tan skin that's been kissed all over with freckles. their hair tied up in a ponytail just slightly darker than their skin. they were the essence of beauty if it wasn't for their eyes. their eyes were big and hollow, filled with a white greenish light. I hated it.

"go away. i wanted to listen to the birds today, ad I never get peace with you here!" it really did erk me that this creature had come here. they never show themselves to any of my classmates but me. and for what? The idiot is just shy I suppose. the person tilted his head as if they didn't know what I was talking about. but I could see the glint in their eyes. they were up to something.

suddenly the boy pointed to the bus sign under the stop sign. I don't remember when i started to see him. but for along as iv know. lime has always been here, and iv always been his lemon i suppose.  He's not the best. sometimes all he dose is watch. but other times he likes to show me small things. its on those days that im actually happy. those are the days i look forward to. i smiled.

"the Buss Is Y E L L O W, lime. The buss has always been yellow. but its not a place yellow like you like. its an ungodly yellow you can see from oceans away." Lime smiled at me. first time i ever saw him do so.

then suddenly he was gone. and i got to spend time listening to the birds. there screams sounding unbelivibly beautiful to me.

Then the turtale came and took me away to the hell hole i call school.

(AUTHORS NOTE)

This is my first book.

this is something iv wrote during quarantine.

it's simply a book I started to write in order to help me with my depression.

i had bad addictions I was trying to recover from. and writing this helped me.

with that being said there might be content in here that might be triggering. I will put trigger warnings before chapters that might be too much.

If you like the book, then thank you, and your support is appreciated.

thank you for reading the first chapter and i will try to update when I can.
