To his amazement, class went rather smoothly. Although, the incident was still in the back of his mind, popping up every so often. Later in the day, at lunch, he ditches school. Not that he disliked his new friends or anything, if you can even call them that, but he really didn't want to see Obito. Not till he faced the problem. Anyways, he already planned to meet up Tsunade and talk about the process so far..., didn't want her to think he's dead or anything. He scheduled the conference late in the afternoon, about 2ish. They planned to meet somewhere in the Mountains, just to be careful.
The bell just rung, it was time to go to lunch. Before Obito had any chance to talk to him, Kakashi leaves saying, "Ill see you at lunch. I just have to go somewhere real quick."
He paces himself when jogging to the gate, often glancing around him, and avoiding areas with large crowds. He sees a opening. It was the perfect location. There was no people around, and was a blind spot to the cameras. Kakashi is about to jump the fence, that once keep him hostage when he hears someone appear around the corner.
"Shit!", "Who's there..!?" He said, fiercely whispering.
Naruto tilts his head out, just enough to visibly scan the area.
"Why are you skipping?" Sasuke turn's the corner casually and interrupts him, "Be thankful its just us. Why are you ditching"?
"Hey that's what I said!" Naruto pouts while dramatically rotating himself away from Sasuke's view.
"Ah.. haha I had.. a job interview!", "Yea! Accidently scheduled the wrong time you 'know.?" He said, lying through his teeth. He then added on," You don't mind.. keeping this a secret right..?"
Barely whispering Sasuke says, "Doesn't seem like something you would do.."
Naruto of course, didn't think anything of what Sasuke was mumbling about, and happily/foolishly responded, "Of course! We got you covered! And good luck on that interview!"
Sasuke, not piecing everything together quick enough, ended up letting the thought go. He wished him luck, waved goodbye and left with Naruto, not giving it any more thought.
Awkwardly, Kakashi clings tightly onto the fence, hops over and sprints away, leaving no trance behind, as if he wasn't ever there.
30 minutes go by, Kakashi breezing through the ponds, tree, bushes and anything in his way. He sun was far ahead of the morning horizon, leading now towards the west. He air was moist, and the clouds were forming above him. It smelt of damp moss and tree bark, all resembling the signature smell of the forest. Ahead, he sees a small figure, growing closer. He picks up the pace, and spots a little sanctuary behind her, perfectly blending in with its surroundings. You'll have to know a lot about them to even see find it, even up close.
"I see your late as always.. good to see your still the same.", "Now, tell me, what process have you come to report this time?"
