Phoenix Sacrifice (Part 1)

Y/n POV
I've been on Neverland for a few weeks now and you have made friends with three of the lost boy Peter Pan, Felix, and Phoenix. After hanging out with them you think should tell him how you feel... how you feel.

You are wandering around the island when you bump into the Second in Command just the lost boy you wanted to see. You look up at him with a smile.
"Hey Y/n" he greeted
"Hey Phoenix"
He looked at me then was about to continue walking when I grabbed his arm. He gave me a confused look.
"Yes?" He asked confused
"There's something I want to ask you?" I say a little nervous why am I nervous it's just Phoenix? He nodded for me to continue what I was saying.

"I-I um... I um wanted to tell you..." I looked practically everywhere but in his direction. He hooked his fingers under my chin and made me look at him.
"Are you okay Y/n? You seem nervous about something." He said still holding my chin so I look at him.
"I um... you know what screw it," I said before pulling his lips down onto mine, he seemed to hesitate for a minute but then kissed me back passionately.
"Finally!" We both turn in the direction of the voice and see Pan and Felix looking at us with smirks on their faces.

"How long have you been standing there?" I ask
"Long enough to know you can get nervous," Pan said with a mischievous grin plastered on his face.  "So are you two going to start dating now?" Felix asked looking at us. I looked up at Phoenix who looked down at me then I looked back to Pan and Felix and said yes, and before I knew what was happening Pan and Felix started to threaten Phoenix by saying things like 'If you hurt her I will kill you, 'You break her heart and I will personally rip yours out' that one was Pans, 'You do anything to hurt her in any way shape or form and I will kill you, there where a whole lot more it went on for about twenty minutes of them threatening Phoenix. I looked at Pan and Felix.

"Okay boys that's enough you've had your fun, time to be nice again and besides he would never intentionally hurt me, and if he did you two would be the first to know,"  I told them and they stopped then just because I can I went on my tippy toes and kissed him on the lips again. Both Pan and Felix rolled their eyes as Phoenix smirked. We all headed back towards camp and announced that me and Phoenix were dating.
"Okay, I think everyone can agree when I say we should have a cake to celebrate," Pan said and used his magic to make a couple of cakes appear on the table. After we finished eating Pan used magic to play his flute while he came over to me and Phoenix who were talking like we always do at the campfire.

"You two should dance now that your a couple and besides I don't think I've ever seen either of you dance before," Pan said looking at us I looked at Phoenix then got up and pulled him up with me.
"I have to warn you I'm not that good at dancing." He told me then I let out a small laugh.
"It doesn't matter if your good or not just if you're having fun," I told him with a serious expression before I started to twirl around the fire making him join me. The whole time Pan and Felix are watching us and I can just barely hear Felix say 'they are perfect for each other' I can see Pan nodding his head in agreement as we dance the night away.

~Time Skip 2 Years~

Me and Phoenix are still dating and we're both happy. It feels like nothing could ruin this moment. I'm sitting at the campfire when Pan came over to me and Phoenix we were talking about random stuff. He looked at both of us and smiled.
"So what are you two talking about this time?" Pan asked
"Nothing important," I told him
"Why do you ask?" Phoenix asked looking up at Pan
"Well I was wondering if I should..." Pan wasn't able to finish his sentence before one of the lost boys came running through the woods panting catching everyone's attention. Pan and I went over to the lost boy.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Pan asked worried he cared for these boys
"Pirates... on the beach... about... a dozen!" he said in between breaths. I looked at Pan he gave me a nod and I went to mine and Phoenix's hut to get my weapons then I saw Phoenix walk out of our hut with both mine and his weapons in his arms. He grabbed my bow and a quiver full of arrows, the dagger he got me for my birthday last year, and a sword. I strapped them on while he strapped his sword, dagger, and a quiver full of arrows on when we were ready he grabbed his crossbow. I looked to the others who just finished grabbing their weapons. Me and Phoenix lead everyone to the beach while Pan teleported there to get a good idea of how many were there is what he told them but me and Phoenix know he just didn't want to run there.

Once we got to the beach I saw about twenty pirates. 'Great' I saw Pan in the middle of the beach talking to the pirates. Me and the lost boys were waiting in the woods surrounding the beach. One of the pirates went to attack Pan and he dodged it with ease. Seeing this me and the others ran out onto the beach and started to attack the pirates. One lost boy per pirate, eventually me, Pan and Phoenix ended up getting put back to back fighting our pirates both Pan and Phoenix injured there's enough that they were on the ground unconscious they were about to help me but I told them I got it and to help the boys instead they both ran off to help the others. After about an hour of fighting, there were plenty of injuries on both sides and Phoenix was fighting a pirate nearby when I saw him jump behind me and take an arrow to the chest.

Phoenix's POV
I just finished fighting a pirate when I saw an arrow go flying straight towards Y/n, I jumped in between her and the arrow and it lodged itself into my chest she turned around and saw me bleeding out. Then out of nowhere a burst of energy came flying from her chest as she screamed making everyone go flying. I didn't know she could do that and I don't think she knew either. She took me in her arms as everyone watched Pan teleport over to us he looked at me lying in her lap.
"Don't worry you're going to be okay" she said while crying I looked at Pan
"Take care of her... make sure she stays safe... for me," I told him he looked at me with tears starting to fill his eyes. I reached up and cupped Y/n face with my hand.
"I love you..." and with that, I drew my last breath.

Y/n POV
"I love you..." he said as he drew his last breath
"No, no, no! Wake up please wake up Phoenix please" I said with tears streaming down my face. I looked at Pan and he was also crying he looked at me sadness engulfing both of us. I looked around and found the pirate who shot the arrow that killed Phoenix. I handed Phoenix's dead body to Pan who looked at me knowing what I was about to do but didn't make any attempt to stop me. I grabbed my bow and notched an arrow. I aimed it at the pirate everyone backed away from him as he stood there frozen. He stared back at me with fear as I let the arrow go flying it hit him square in the heart he was dead no questions asked.

The other pirates retreated to their ship as the lost boys came over to me and Pan who was still holding Phoenix's dead body. We walked back to the camp Pan holding Phoenix's dead body because I'm not strong enough to hold him. We plan to bury him tomorrow at his favorite part of the island.

A/N I can make a part 2 if you want I already got it started with him being buried and pan and Felix comforting her. Keep in mind I am willing to change the next part if you want one and if you think it would be better with a different starting point.
