Dolphin was anxious. Today was her first day at Jade Mountain and she hadn't ever felt the need to be social, but now she had to do exactly that. Her pastel teal scales slightly glimmered in the early morning light and one of the SeaWings who had been here before swooped under and in front of her before powering forward. Wingbeats came beside her and she turned her head to see a SeaWing prince. "Dolphin, right?" he said, "It's Turtle, one of the princes." "Oh, hi, you've been here before, right?" she responded. "Yeah, you won't have to worry that much, as long as another prophecy doesn't happen," he chuckled.

She looked forward, and there it was, Jade Mountain. "Here we are!" Turtle exclaimed. As they started to glide down, Sunny, one of the Dragonets of Destiny, yelled, "Quartz Winglet over here!" "I'll see you later," Turtle said before flying over to a NightWing and a RainWing.

Dolphin changed her direction and landed softly on the rock. "Hello, you must be Dolphin!" Sunny exclaimed happily. "You probably already know me, but just in case, I'm Sunny, Thorn's daughter and a Dragonet of Destiny." "Yes, I know you," Dolphin replied shyly, picking at a hole in the rock and swishing her tail back and forth. She was getting more nervous, and didn't have any of her SeaWing companions to talk to her.

The sound of wing beats came behind them and Sunny repeated what she had been saying for the past couple of minutes. A large, dark orange SkyWing landed beside Dolphin and, surprisingly, smiled at her. She also noticed that the SkyWing wasn't scarred like most she had ever seen. "Wow, first dragon my age to smile at me and, oddly enough, it's a SkyWing," Dolphin joked. "Yeah, I get that a lot, I didn't fight in the war and I was a kind of sheltered child, so I didn't get to be a very grumpy dragon."

Sunny called out again and both dragons turned their heads around to a RainWing who looked like they should have been the SkyWing. "Hello-" "Sunny? Yeah, I know you." They turned to Dolphin and the SkyWing and said, "Name's Tangerine. I prefer to be alone, so... maybe don't talk to me unless you absolutely need to." "I'm Dolphin-" "-and I'm Sardonyx." "What did I just say?" Tangerine scoffed. "Rude." Sardonyx whispered.

A bit later, a lavender colored, overly noble looking IceWing named Taiga, a surprisingly small, deep red MudWing named Water Lily, an elegant, yellowish- ivory colored with black scales lining her wings and tail SandWing named Mirage, and a blueish-black NightWing named ThoughtWalker joined the Winglet, too.

"Now that everyone's here, I'll show you to where you will be sleeping." Sunny stated before guiding them through the halls of Jade Mountain and leading them to a large cave. There was a leafy hammock, a rock ledge, some reed mats, a sandy ledge that was just above the ground, and a pool! "Feel free to sleep wherever you'd like, as long as that's okay with the rest of your Clawmates, and here's your schedule." Sunny handed out a scroll with different times, classes, and rooms on it to each dragonet, then a scroll with a map of Jade Mountain on it. "Good luck," she said to them, than turned and made her way back down the hall.

"Is it okay if I get that ledge?" Sardonyx asked the group. "Yeah, I'll just take a mat," Water Lily answered softly. "I think everyone has in mind where they will sleep," Mirage stated to the group. "Anyways, I think we should all get to sleep, we have a lot of classes tomorrow." As she trotted to her Sandy ledge, Dolphin said, "Speaking of classes, don't we have them with the Jade Winglet?" "Or what's left of the Jade Winglet," Taiga stated smugly. "Yes, I think we do," ThoughtWalker said. "Should we really be taking input from a member from a lying tribe?" Taiga hissed, before laying on her own reed mat. "Don't listen to her," Dolphin whispered to ThoughtWalker. "I know, everyone's just hard to ignore, I guess," he replied.

Dolphin yawned, and decided it was time for her to get to sleep. She laid down in the pool and fell asleep quite easily, given how nervous she was only a few hours earlier. While she dreamt, she saw a glimpse of something a dark dragon, to others in the distance, and a very, very strong feeling of betrayal. It was brief, and soon she was back to dreaming normally.
