I walked down the side path, kicking the gravel as I walked. It was a warm Sunday in the suburbs of Sydney and I was coming back from a walk with my black and white, Border- Collie, Pluto. I shoved a hand in the pocket of my black hoodie and kept one out holding onto Pluto's red leash. I looked around taking in the area around me. Small, dull coloured town houses filled every available space. I lived with my grandmother, my mum was murdered when I was three and my dad ran away. I never saw my grandmother, she was always working to keep us healthy.
As I walked slowly I saw a huge moving truck pull into the house next to ours. Our house was small and cozy. A tall boy got out of the truck and smiled, obviously happy where he was. I assumed he was living alone as no one else got out of the truck. He was blonde with blue eyes, his hair spiked up in what looked like a quiff. I was lying if I said he wasn't attractive. As I walked past he smiled and waved, I took a quick glance and then looked back down to the grey path.
As I pulled open the blue door he came running over. "Hi, the names Luke," he held his hand out to shake it.
I held it for about to seconds before letting go. "Jayden," was my last word before stepping inside.

I knew my grandmother wasn't home because all the lights were turned off. As I turned them on, they lit up the cream walls. I put Pluto away in the back yard, which by the way was tiny, and walked back to the lounge room. I sat down almost straight away, letting my butt sink into the black leather couch. I grabbed the small remote from my side and turned the flat screen TV on. I flicked through Foxtel and eventually turned on Dance Moms.
I had watched for about an hour before deciding to make dinner. It was about 6.30, and I usually had dinner around six. I walked into the coffee coloured kitchen and opened the cream coloured cupboards. I grabbed a trey and decided to make chips and chicken.
After it was finished I put it on a plate and ate it all. I put the p,ate in the relatively clean dish washer and started it up. I walked down the small hallway and into the bathroom. I tv was medium sized with coffee coloured walls and a black sink. I undressed from my black hoodie and tights and turned the water on.
I washed my hair, shaved my legs and washed my body before hopping out. I got dressed in my purple pyjamas and then walked back down to the kitchen. I had a glass of water and grabbed my phone. I walked back down the hall and to my Tumblr themed room and got into bed, ready for the day tomorrow.
