Will wandered through the hallways, swinging his light in wide, open paths to get the most visibility possible. He passed by the Main Stage several times, and the animatronics hadn't moved. He eventually got to the Prize Corner, and saw that the Puppet's box was open, and the Puppet wasn't inside.

What the fuck-

Where did it go?

You think I know?

...fair point.

Will got a bit panicked now. He swung his light around more frantically, not seeing where it was. Was it hiding in that corner? Or maybe that one? No, it wasn't. Will then facepalmed, realising it must be in the Parts and Service room for repairs.

Do you really believe that?

What other explanation is there? That it got up and walked away?

...fair enough.

Will walked back to the main stage, not noticing how Toy Bonnie wasn't on the stage. He looked at Pirate's Cove, noticing the Mangle sitting in its corner. He walked over to it and leaned down.

"Poor thing...why hasn't anyone fixed you up yet?"

According to that sign above it, they've turned it into a "Pull Apart, Put Together" attraction.

Will looked up and noticed the sign.

"Aww, that's stupid! These aren't meant to be played with by children, they're dangerous machines!"

Will stood back up and looked down at the Mangle.

"Don't worry. I'll try and fix you tomorrow."

Will walked off, intent on reaching the Parts and Service room. When he got there, he opened the door and saw a bunch of old animatronics, practically torn apart and covered in dust. Looking around, he was surprised to see that the Puppet wasn't there. He walked back out, closing the door and headed to his office.

Looking at his watch, he saw it was 5:50 AM. Almost time to go. Right before he entered, something stopped him.

STOP!

He physically stopped, not knowing why.

What? What's wrong?

Charlotte's voice spoke again, a bit shakily.

Just...trust me. Don't go in there. Something's wrong.

Yeah, I know that, you made that much clear. But what is it?

...I think it's me? I don't know, but trust me, don't go in there.

Great, now the voice was acting crazy. But then he realised he felt something, too. He didn't know how, but he sensed a presence in the office. It was familiar, but twisted somehow. Like it wasn't friendly. Slowly, he poked his head through the door and looked up.

There, on the ceiling, was the Puppet. It's limbs were curled around it like snakes, and it was staring at the desk. Yes, staring. It had little, glowing white dots in its eyesockets. Suddenly, the eyes turned to him and the Puppet dropped to the ground. Its limbs unfurled, and it started floating towards him.

He tried walking backwards, but tripped on something, likely his own foot. When he fell, the Freddy Head got knocked off, revealing his face. Suddenly, the Puppet stopped in its tracks, staring at him. It stood like that for about 5 minutes, and then the 6 AM alarm went off.

The Puppet stood straight up and floated back to its box, leaving Will alone and confused.

When Will got home, he immediately started going over the events of last night in his head. Why did the Puppet stop? Was it because of his wristband? He looked down at Charlotte's wristband, remembering how the Puppet was programmed to protect whoever wore a wristband like this. But then he realised it had been covered, so the Puppet couldn't have seen it. Then he realised something...

Had it recognised his face?
