A Simple Attraction

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
His laughter continued to probe my ear drums as I sit there with my eyes still sealed shut. I don't know if it was my imagination but I could have sworn there was an evil dirge laced inbetween its beautiful sound.
Shivers erupted from my toes and traveled up my spine, then rang in my head. I could feel my wolf stirring and my facial expressions contort into ones of confusion instead of fear.
I wrapped my short fingers around the edge of the arm rest on my chair and grimaced as I felt my wolf begging to be let out. I ignored her and tried to relax. I focused on my heartbeat, only to find that it was rapidly pounding inside my chest.
I heard the sound of the alpha's fingernails clawing through the wood of his desk and the piercing sound of the desk splitting met my ears causing my eyes to snap open. Large scraps were dragged out along the top with large splinters sticking up into the air. My eyes widened when I saw the drops of blood trickled along the desk and looked up to see little cuts on the pads of his fingertips.
I brought the corner of my lip into my mouth and began to vigorously chew, feeling the fear slowly seeping into my veins to poison my blood. My mind was running on over drive, trying to comprehend what was happening and why chills ran wildly through my body as I felt his eyes travel over every inch of me.
"Look at me." His voice sounded strange as he spoke, almost strained and so soft spoken that I could barely hear him.
I stubbornly refused to comply to his request which made my body tremble with all the emotions going through both of us.
'Look at me' I jumped at the sound of his deep voice in my head. He used his alpha command and I had no choice but to raise my head slowly and look at him through hooded and emotionless eyes. We connected gazes and I gasped. They were an enchanting black. I continued to gasp as I took in his sharp facial features; his hard jaw, dark brown hair and full pink lips. I focused my eyes back on his and cringed as hundreds of fireworks exploded in my stomach.
I felt my wolf screaming in my mind, trying to tell me something that I was just too confused to figure out. I pulled my hands up to my head and applied pressure trying to calm my raging emotions. I began to fidget in my seat when none of my calming tactics seemed to be working, my systems where overriding and the air around me became thick.
”Cherity?" A familiar voice floated around the room. I tried to turn and see who it was but tears welled in my eyes and my vision blurred. A booming growl sounded from in front of me and huge arms wrapped around my body until I was being craddled into a warm chest. Sparks flew through my body again, causing me to whimper loudly.
A hand reached up and stroked my face but before I could bask in the glorious feeling of his skin on mine, pain poked me again and I shot up from my previous position and darted from the suffocating front office. In the distance I heard my name being called but I wasn't myself. the world was shaking beneath my feet and my balance was off, causing me to trip a thousand times and hit my head against the lockers lining the hallways.
I'm not exactly sure what made me think that I could escape from two powerful werewolves in this state but not even a single minute later hot hands grabbed my body and I was slammed into a wall.
"Don't run from me." His deep voice growled and a lightning bolt struck down inside my head again and I began to curl into a ball of pain. His body pressed against mine, leaving me with nothing else to do but clutch onto him and wish that somehow the warmth radiating from him would clear the disease I had appearntly caught somewhere along the way.
We moved away from the wall and to the floor so that I was straddling him with my head pressed into hiss neck. I'm pretty sure to any average person I would look like just another one of those girls whose fallen through and turned to doing drugs, with the thin layer of sweat coating my entire body, the shake of my hands and constant whimpers coming from my trembling and swollen lips.
The only difference would be the fact that I was currently in the arms of the principle and my alpha while he rubbed soothing circles into my back.
Sparks ignighted at his touch but it wasn't enough of a medication to mask the withering pain still coursing through my veins. My mind still felt like it was running away from me and out the front doors of school. Although his touch wasn't medicine, the thoughts that were streaming through my mind at the moment we're enough to momentarily forget about any pain.
The alpha. My alpha was holding onto me just as tight as I was to him. This is the same man that practically had me shaking in my boots ten minutes ago; the alpha I had only seen for the first time in my seventeen years of living; the rock hard emotionless bastard.
Everything seemed to shake when the school bell rang above our heads. His strong arms tightened around my waist as he stood, still holding onto me and moved towards the doors that were my previous destination. The sound of students filling the halls caught my ears before there was dead silence once again.
One of the hands holding onto me was removed and I heard the familiar creak of the door, but before I was pulled completely out of sight of my fellow student body, I peered up with hooded eyes only to see thousands of kids staring right back at me.
