Chapter 3

So Jake and Sunghoon continued skipping classes, they bought theirselves drinks and snacks and hanged out at their favourite spot.
a few months later
JAKE
It was it was the 8th of December . today it was snowing and... It was Sungoon's Birthday!
I wanted to surprise him with some new ice skating shoes and some pictures of the two of us.
Yesterday at night I wrapped his present in wrapping paper.
So Today was a very special day.
Also.. I wanted to confess to Sunghoon because I liked him like a lot lately so wish me luck!
I made my way to school with the gift in my hand.
I saw Sunghoon from far away at his locker with his back facing me.
I wanted to call him but I decided to scare him and then give him his gift.
I slowly walked up to him when he turned to the side and I saw that he was making out with a girl..

I quickly stopped walking and just stood there with the present in my hand.
My hands started feeling cold even if I had gloves on.
I looked down to the present and slowly walked away to my classroom.
Oh shit I remembered I got the same period as Sunghoon now.
I hid the present in my backpack ,sighed and looked out of the window.
"Hey is this seat taken?" I heard a familiar voice knowing it was Sunghoon.
"Oh ofcourse it isn't" Sunghoon laughed and looked at me who was completely ignoring him.
"Hey is everything okay?"
"Jake? Jakeyy"
I slightly blushed at that nickname but i was still hurt.
"Hey you can't ignore me on my birthday."
He said and I could feel that he was pouting.
I turned around .
"hm..?" I Hummed quietly.
"Oh yeah happy birthday.."
"What's up?Did I do something wrong?"he asked
"Oh no no you didn't everything is fine" I sat up and smiled a little.
"Not that I thought you'd like me back.." I whispered to myself.
"What?" Sunghoon asked me
"What? Nothing everything's fine"
I answered.
"No Jake. Please tell me what's wrong I'll try to fix it"
I sighed.
"Shit Sunghoon you CANT fix it because it's something you've already done!"
I laughed in sadness.
Sunghoon looked down and scratched his head.
"Oh..it's that.."
Sunghoon said quietly.
"Look I'm sorry I didn't tell you I know it was wrong I should've told you before that I'm dating Jen-"
"Dating?oh.." I said and was even more hurt.
"Look Jake I'm sorry I should've told you I-"
SUNGHOON
"No it's okay." Jake said he stood up ,took his jacket and left.
"Jake!"
I grabbed my jacket and ran after him.
I was looking for Jake everywhere but he wasn't there . Then I remembered our favourite hang out spot.
I ran there and saw Jake.
I slowly got closer till I heard him say something.
"If only you knew how much I liked you Sunghoon..." he sighed and rubbed his hands together.
"Jake.." I whispered.
