It was the first day at Emilys middle school. She was finally in 8th grade. 7th grade sucked,all her teachers did.
She sat down at a random seat.
"Okay,kids,pick a good spot because that's where you're sitting for the rest of the trimester."
Emily looked at the boy sitting next to her,then looked around the class.She saw Aiden,Hayden,and Jayden. Both good boyfriends.
"Ugh,can we switch seats?" Emily asked.
"Why?No girl ever likes me.." The boy next to her said.
"I do!It's just that-" Emily turned to the boy next to her.He was wearing a frog hat and pink skirt and grey hoodie.
"So,let's start with icebreakers.Tell your name and a fun fact about yourself to the person next to you."
They turned to eachother.It would be a long year.
You go first.Ladies first." The boy said.
"Uhh....fine. Anyways,my name is Emily and I'm not like other girls.I don't like nakeup,pink,dresses,parties,or boys.I'm also SO short."
"Nice to meet you,Emily.I'm Nathan. I'm...also not like other boys.I HATE sports and videogames..and I'm too skinny. I just think girls are better, y'know? They're not gross or mean.. Too bad they don't like me."
"I like you!" Said Emily. "I mean,not in a romantic way of course."
Emily was glad it would be a long year.
