Marinette went downstairs to get Luka. She was still a little sad about Adrien not being able to make it. She walked through the door.

She saw someone on the bed in the corner of her eye and spun around in surprise.

A Goth teenager with blue tipped hair wearing a Jagged Stone t-shirt and blue hoodie with ripped black jeans sat cross legged on the bed with a guitar but his eyes were closed.

'This is Luka? I wonder why Juleka never told me she had a brother?' Marinette thought. 'Is, he...asleep? Dang...he's actually kinda hot.'

She could feel her cheeks getting warm. 'Oh my gosh, what should I do?' she thought. 'I don't want to startle him!' She didn't have to wonder for long.

Suddenly he opened his eyes. They were a sparkly turquoise blue, like the ocean. He smiled at her. 'Hello' he said.

Marinette just stared into his mesmerizing eyes as he looked back into her bluebell eyes.

'Shoot, I'd better say something' Marinette thought, 'or he's going to think I'm rude for staring at him! Say something cool Marinette! Be cool! Be cool!'

'Hi, my name's Ma-ma-Marinette!' she stammered. 'Ugh, that was the opposite of cool!' she thought as she gave herself a mental facepalm.

'Nice to meet you Ma-ma-Marinette. I'm Luka' he replied with a giggle.

Marinette blushed, embarrassed and looked down.

Luka gasped, upset at himself that he made her uncomfortable.

'Sorry!' he said. 'I tend to make more sense with this.'

He strummed a chord on his guitar. He motioned for her to sit down. She went and sat next to him.

'You seem to have a song like this, in your heart' Luka smiled as he began to play a beautiful tune.

Marinette gasped. She was in awe of how well he played and how much it matched with her emotions. She closed her eyes as she smiled and listened to the beautiful melody in her head.

Luka smiled and watched her as he played. 'She's so beautiful, inside and out' he thought. 'I love her cute pigtails and the way she blushes.'

When he'd finished playing, Marinette asked him, 'How do you...do that?'

'It's a gift I have. Music is often simpler than words. Have you ever heard the saying a picture is worth a thousand words? I believe that's true with music too' he replied.

'I agree with that!' Marinette said as she stood up and walked over to see all of his picks on the wall. She picked up one with Jaggeds picture on it.

'You like Jagged Stone's music?' she asked.

'Sure do, he's my favourite singer!' Luka replied.

'Mine too!' Marinette replied. 'I've even got to meet him and design some sunglasses for him as well as the cover of his Rock Giant album!'

Luka gasped. 'Really? I remember now, I read that article about you designing the cover! You're very talented Marinette' Luka said with a smile. 'I'm sure you'll become a famous designer someday! Juleka has told me a lot about you too. That you like helping your friends. I sensed that too from the song in your heart.' He smiled warmly at her.

Marinette blushed. 'Thank you, Luka' she replied still holding the Jagged Stone pick in her fingers, fiddling with it. 'You know, Juleka never told me she even had a brother. Are you older than her?'

'Only by two minutes. We're twins actually.' Luka replied.

'Really? Cool! So, how come I've never seen you at school?' Marinette asked.

'Oh, I go to a school for the musically gifted' Luka replied. 'Juleka wanted to stay with Rose. They've been best friends ever since I can remember. Besides Rose and Ivan, today will be the first time I've ever met any of Juleka's other friends from her class. Juleka, Rose, Ivan and I just recently formed a band called Kitty Section. You'll get front row seats to our first ever concert. I'm...kinda nervous actually...'

Marinette smiled. 'I'm sure you'll be great! If what I just heard is anything to go by you will be awesome' she blushed.

Luka smiled and felt better. 'I was meditating when you came in actually, to help me relax. I was asking the music gods to bring me something to help me relax and I opened my eyes and there you were. I think you were the answer to my prayers' Luka blushed.

Marinette began to get that hot feeling again as Luka got up and stood next to her and saw her playing with the guitar pick still. He smiled.

'You can keep it if you like, I have plenty'

'Keep...it?' Marinette replied as she stared into his amazing blue eyes as he smiled warmly at her.

'Yeah, the guitar pick' Luka replied with a chuckle.

'Oh!...Thanks!' Marinette blushed shyly.

'Man, she's cute' Luka thought to himself. 'I'd better go before I say or do something I might regret.'

'Anyway, I'm guessing why you came down here to get me is because the group is ready for me upstairs? I'd better go join them.' Luka smiled.

'Oh, yeah, your mom said the groove, I mean the group is waiting for you.'

Luka chuckled. 'You're a funny girl, Marinette' he said with a warm smile as he headed upstairs. 'It's a pleasure to meet you.'

'You too...' Marinette replied in a daze as she watched him go.

'What is wrong with me?' she thought as she put the guitar pick in her purse as Tikki flew out. Tikki smirked at Marinette.

'Am I detecting a rising fire sign Marinette?' Tikki giggled.

'Am I that obvious?' Marinette said sheepishly.

'He does seem very sweet, and he certainly has a gift with that guitar playing of his!' Tikki replied. 'Besides, I could sense that he liked you too!'

'Really?' Marinette replied.

'You can't be a Kwami as long as I have without picking up a thing or two about human emotions' Tikki replied. 'Trust me!'

'Anyway, better head upstairs myself. Hide Tikki!' Marinette said as she joined everyone else on deck.
