Captain Hardrock - Lukanette Version

She went and sat down beside Alya as the band was tuning up.

'You okay girl?' Alya asked her. 'You were gone a while!'

Marinette smiled. 'Uh-huh' she replied. She looked up on stage and locked eyes with Luka who smiled lovingly at her. Marinette blushed.

Alya saw their exchange. 'Ahh, me thinks Marinette the compass has found herself a new statue! That was fast!' she chuckled.

'Alya! He played the melody that was in my heart, it was beautiful! I feel clammy, light headed, my face is on fire, what's wrong with me?' Marinette replied.

Alya giggled. 'That's easy girl! You got a classic case of euphoria!'

Marinette gasped. 'Is that contagious? Am I gonna die?'

Alya laughed. 'You kill me girl! It just means that you have a classic case of love at first sight! I've never even seen you this bad with Adrien!'

'Adrien who?....' Marinette replied, looking up at Luka tuning his guitar. She sighed.

Alya chuckled. 'OMG, you got it bad girl!'

'Maybe Adrien not coming was a sign. A sign for Marinette to change statues. I think this will be good for her' Alya thought. She looked at Arnaka who smiled and winked as if to say, 'Told you so!'

'Let's give em a show, whenever you're ready Luka!' Arnaka announced as huge speakers were uncovered.

Mylene gave Alya and Marinette earplugs. 'You're going to need these, believe me!'

The rest of the episode goes same as normal up to when Captain Hardrock chains the friends up in pairs and they tumble down into the hold.

'Ugh, ow!' everyone groaned.

'You okay Alya?' Nino asked.

'Ask me in a minute when everything stops hurting!' Alya replied.

'Don't be scared Mylene, everything's gonna be okay!' Ivan said to his girlfriend. Mylene smiled. 'Thanks Ivan!' she replied.

Rose held Juleka's hand. 'You okay Jule?' she asked. 'Ya, I just hope mom will be okay' Juleka replied. 'Ladybug and Cat Noir will come and save the day like they always do!' Rose replied. 'Don't worry!'

Of all the people there to be chained up with, Luka was kinda glad it was Marinette. He was worried about his mom, but he wanted to know if Marinette was okay.

'Are you okay Marinette?' Luka asked. 'You're not hurt, are you?'

'I'm okay. Are you okay Luka?' she replied.

'I'm fine. Just worried about my mom is all' he said sadly.

Marinette reached for his hand and gave it a squeeze. Luka gasped quietly and blushed.

'Of course, this must be the first time you've ever seen anyone akumatised in person before' Marinette replied.

'Welcome to my world bro' Juleka thought to herself.

'Yeah, I mean, I see Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat villains all the time on TV. I remember how upset I got when Juleka told me she got akumatised. But this is the first time I've ever witnessed it myself' Luka replied.

'It'll be okay, don't worry! I'll find some way to get out of this and get help!' Marinette said to cheer Luka up.

'Thanks Marinette!' Luka smiled. He squeezed her hand back as Marinette blushed.

Tikki winked at Marinette from her purse. 👛
Marinette nodded while Tikki secretly unlocked the padlock on the chains without being seen.

'Woah...how'd you do that?' Luka asked her.

'Oh, um....with this!' she replied, holding up the Jagged Stone guitar pick. Luka got up and held out his hand and helped her up.

'Wow, you're amazing Marinette! A real magician!' Luka smiled.

'Oh, it was nothing, I just...amazing? Really?' she replied as they gazed into each others eyes. Luka wanted so badly to kiss her right then and there.

Just then Alya spoke up. 'Um, excuse me, but some of us are still chained up here, you know!'

Marinette and Luka blushed, but knew they had a job to do.

Suddenly they heard the door opening.

'She's coming!' Marinette said. 'We'll be back for you, I promise!' she told everyone as Luka grabbed her hand and led her through to his cabin and closed the door.

Marinette had a plan. 'Quick! Open the porthole! I'll pretend to have escaped to throw her off but I'll hide under the bed!'

'Brilliant!' Luka replied. When Captain Hardrock entered Luka called out the open porthole. 'Run, Marinette, quick!'

She chained Luka up again and put him back with the others. She looked out the porthole. 'She won't get very far!' she said as she left the cabin and went back on deck.

Marinette came out from under the bed.

'Phew! That was close!' Tikki said. 'Good thinking Marinette!'

'Time to get Luka's mom back! Tikki, spots on!' she said as she transformed into Ladybug.

When she went to free her friends as Ladybug, as she helped Luka up, he asked her: Ladybug, where's Marinette? Is she okay?'

'She's safe, she's the one who alerted me!' Ladybug replied.

Luka gasped. 'That girl is incredibly brave!'

Ladybug turned away and blushed at the compliment. 'He's so sweet!' she thought.

'Lucky charm!' she exclaimed as she activated her super power. She caught it.

'Another chain?' she said. 'A pair of pliers would have come in more handy. Don't worry guys, I'm going to find a way to get you out!'

As she left, Luka gasped as he just had a huge realisation. But he knew he had to keep it to himself.

After the miraculous ladybugs had fixed everything, Ladybug said, 'Enjoy your gig! Bug out!' and swung away. She detransformed secretly and ran back to the Liberty.

Luka was looking our for her. He was worried about her. When he saw her running back to the Liberty he ran up and hugged her.

'Marinette!' he cried. 'Thank goodness you're okay! I was so worried!'

Marinette gasped at Luka's warm hug as she put her arms around him. Luka loved her warm hug. He never wanted to let her go.

They could both feel each others hearts beating in unison like a drum. Marinette sighed happily. 'This is one statue this compass never wants to be apart from' she thought.

Roger came to do a sound check and decided to let their concert go ahead. Marinette hugged Luka. 'You'll be great!' she said.

'Thanks Marinette. You're my real life lucky charm' he smiled warmly. Marinette blushed.
