sam had always been "old school" and a "hopeless romantic". it was one of the things you loved about him. he loved to send you love letters while he was away on tour, even though he could always text or call. and after, you would always call him to say thank you and that he didn't have to do it, but he would always respond with "hush im writing another right now!". this was the next one he wrote:
to my y/n, words cannot describe how much i am in love with you. i miss you every day. i wish you were here with me. i wish i was holding you. i wish i was kissing you. i promise i'll be home soon. just be patient (even though i'm finding it hard to be). i love you pretty girl.

as soon as you finish reading, you grab your phone to call sam. "hi buggy" sam answers, using the frequent nickname. "I'm so in love with you." you respond. "well im glad you liked the letter" he says. "i love you too". "thank you bug, you don't have to write another one. you've already written me like 30!" you say. "oh hush, im writing another right now" he says, as always. "you say that every time!" you say. "well it's true i am!" he says. "well.....when are you coming home?" "ill be back in 3 weeks." he responds. "we can do it" you say back. "yes we can. im gonna hate it but we can" he says back, making you laugh. "i love you." "you've said that already" he says. "i know i know!" "i love you too"
