"oi, are you two alright?" she demanded, standing in front of the doors to breakfast with them.
"why wouldn't we be?" they asked, confusion clear on their faces. she just stared at them a bit, wondering if she heard wrong.
"didn't you two get taken to Filch's office last night?" she said, a little breathlessly after having run the entire way to catch up to them.
"yeah, we did-" george started.
"but we've been trying to get back in there for a week," fred explained.
"charlie normally finds us before we manage to make it down there though," they finished, looking a little put out by it all.
"but why would anyone want to be taken down there. have you seen that awful place?" she said, feeling a shiver run down her spine at the thought and quickly becoming exasperated with how the conversation was going. she couldn't wrap her head around the concept of wanting to be in trouble when she'd spent the last three years with her aunt and uncle trying to stay out of it.
"because," fred started, leaning forward. "filch has an entire cabinet-"
"full of confiscated items-" george added, a grin spreading to his face.
"marked confiscated and highly dangerous!" they finished, identical smirks on their lips.
"what do you think is in there," she said, eyes a little wider. the twins glanced at each other, their own eyes glittering.
"there's only one way to find out."
