"Ha!" ____ laughed as the ball cracked against her aluminum bat, soaring far and hitting the net on the other end of the court. She paused, slugger on her shoulder as she turned a sly eye to Zoro, who had missed three in a row. "What's the matter? I thought you could still hit me out of the park?"

"Shut the fuck up!" He spat, finally hitting one of the baseballs. ____ laughed loudly, clapping to give some encouragement. "How the fuck did you get so good at this? I haven't been batting since we were kids."

"Living with Law brought a lot of pent up emotions." She shrugged, earning a glare in return. Zoro was the only one privy to her feelings for the stoic male, unrequited and burning a hole in her heart. "Come on. I wanna hit some more."

"Give up on him already." Zoro frowned, swinging and hitting a nod so great shot. ____ swung too, sending the ball soaring once again. "He doesn't love you, he isn't going too."

"He'll come 'round." ____ sighed, body twisting as she hit another ball.

"____." Zoro spoke sternly, forcing her to look over to the cage he stood in. He gave her an honest, unimpressed expression. "Don't do this."

"You sound like dad." She frowned, looking back just in time to hit the late ball. She grunted as her swing came with more force than usual. "Don't do this, don't do that. By all means, would you like to give me a curfew?"

"I'm trying to be your brother."

"Well stop." She sighed, dropping the bat to turn fully and look at him. "You don't have to try for that. You already are."

"Look,"

"Hey! ___!" Zoro was interrupted by the voice of another, Killer to be exact. The tall blond smiled, hands on his hips as he came to stand outside her cage. "I think this is the first time I've seen you in something other than a dress."

"You'll be surprised to find that I do have normal clothes." She grinned, laughing. Zoro cleared his throat and ____ blinked in realization. "Oh, Killer this is Zoro. Zoro, Killer."

"Good to meet you." Killer nodded, smile falling into a nearly unnoticeable frown.

"Likewise." Zoro was sharp and curt, tearing his chocolate eyes away to look at his sister. "Are you done yet? I'm hungry."

"Don't be an asshole." She snapped, making Killer blink in surprise. ____ offered the taller male a kind smile. "Sorry, my brother sometimes forgets his manners."

"Well, I came to meet Kid here when I saw you." He shrugged. "Just wanted to say hi. Are you off today?"

"Yeah. The rest of the week actually, then I start a gig in Alabasta." ____ risked a glance at Zoro to find him glaring openly at Killer, clearly seeing him as another man he'd have to beat off with a stick. She only sighed. "Hey, did Heat give you my number?"

"No."

"Give up your phone." ____ left Zoro in the cages, holding her slugger in the crook of her arm as she took his blue cased phone in hand. "Shoot me a text whenever, I've got to feed Oscar the grouch before he decides to gripe anymore, but then if you and the boys wanna go out for some drinks."

"Do you usually hand your number out so freely?" Killer asked quietly, taking his phone back to look over the contact she'd made. A small smirk pulled on his lips when he saw the contact name. 'Stubborn Woman'. Yeah, that was about right.

"How else am I supposed to make friends?" She flashed him a cheeky grin before turning to where Zoro was finally hanging up his gear. "Come on, Marimo. What'r you thinking? I want Subway."
