Elani woke up from what she believed was a nightmare where she would not wake. It was so surreal! She never imagined that the journey her father asked her when they were still at home would turn out to be a walk of revelations. She groaned, placed her hands on her temples to hide from the harsh sunlight.

What time is it? She had thought. When she tried to recall what had happened before she collapsed, her head started pounding. It was too painful not to notice. Good thing she was with Bryce.

After hearing Elani groan, he immediately went to check her up. It wasn't long ago when they were left by Raphael but he supposed that he should be with them at this time. Where could he be?

"Are you alright? Do you want me to get you some water?" He said as he stroked Elani's long blonde hair to soothe what she's feeling right now. She must be exhausted and it's a good thing she had a nap.

"Sir Bryce," she groaned. Her headaches became intense, her heart was also pounding. Bryce could feel the sudden surge of energy Elani was inducing. He was nervous, this must be her concealed energy Malaya was talking about! Her energy was so overpowering that Bryce had to create a ball to try to conceal her. How is she breaking 2 concealments all at once?! One from the Winterspring and now, Malaya's concealment!

Bryce stepped back as he tries to formulate a spell that would match her. He knew he cannot make it but his pride is telling him otherwise. I am a Divine Knight! How is a mere child like her beat me without even lifting a finger? Bryce focused his energy on his palm. When he felt the volt he was looking for, he enchanted the spell until he succeeds in creating the sphere of concealment.

This is not his forte-he is a hand-to-hand combat warrior who should be in the war protecting nymphians. His energy strain is only buffing for protection though the good thing they were taught spells of concealments though it is the weakest kind.

There are different levels of concealment and may vary from city to city. Of course, the central city of Napolia, which is Prulesia possesses the highest level of concealment. The ancestors of different cities who created the spells of concealment passed down to their heirs until it has been made mandatory by the late King due to powerful enemies like Aidon.

It is very useful, not to mention, if an enemy possesses powerful energies, they will need to conceal it. Though it is not that easy since they are not the only ones who knew of these types of spells just like Heimr. They have created multiple spells to counter the concealments of not only the Divine Knights but also some of the cities spells of concealment making war much more difficult.

Bryce has concluded that the concealment that was given to Elani has broken over the years since it was only enchanted by Ryleia. But he knew Malaya concealed her too. Does this mean their concealments are mediocre?

He sighed at the thought of being nearly lost in his thoughts. He lost his focus trying to remember his duties as a warrior but here he is now, babysitting a child who possesses unknown energy strains. All he knows is that she is the daughter of duchess Ryleia! And this sphere could only do so much it is incomparable to Malaya's concealment moreover, to that of the Winterspring's!

Elani was floating on her bed, her eyes were glowing as harsh as the sunlight that Bryce had to cover his eyes, shit. He cursed under his breath. Elani looked at him-she lifted her palms and enchanted a spell that created tiny whirlwinds. When her whirlwinds were moving, she blew a cold breeze, targeting Bryce who's just below her.

Bryce reacted so fast that he quickly created a shield to protect himself and jumped back to the corner of the room. He knew that that whirlwind, no matter its size, the power it possesses is unimaginable! It can be deadly once it hit the eye. When he landed on the floor, he saw the whirlwind touch the spot where Elani blew the winds. And truth be told, he was right!
