The night was young. The moon bloomed blissfully, petals fluttered to the ground while the wind blew calmly. It was a perfect night to spend with your beloved.
Y/n bit her lip. She had no beloved. She lost her lover to Ganyu, her closest friend during her life as an adeptus.
She promised not to betray me.
Tears of hatred brimmed at her eyes and blurred her vision.
How could she? She promised.
The dirt path in front of her was now hard to focus on. Flashbacks of Ganyu giving her love advice when Y/n was in a predicament and training together came back to her mind. Y/n's steps faltered.

The worst type of betrayal is the kind that does not come from your enemies, but from your closest peers
After all, betrayal turns friends to foes.

Y/n seethed with anger. She could not trust anyone so easily anymore. Y/n looked around for anything to distract her from that painful feeling of hatred. Her eyes laid upon a tall statue of the Geo Archon and her heart brightened up.
Rex Lapis! He would comfort me when I was just a novice. He would still comfort me, wouldn't he?
On the path Y/n was walking on was a fruit wagon. An old lady rested on a chair beside it and hummed peacefully to herself. Y/n walked up to ask the old lady about Rex Lapis's whereabouts.
"My my, little one. Have you not heard? Rex Lapis was murdered on the day of the Rite of Decension. Unfortunate, I must say."
Y/n stared into the space in front of her.
Rex Lapis was murdered?
Who will be there for me now?
Who do I serve now?
What is the point in living when there is nothing to live for?
The many questions in her mind gave her a headache and she winced in pain. The agonising pressure on her shoulders was too overwhelming. She could not take it anymore, she was tired of acting tough. The mental exhaustion, fatigue and dehydration finally got to her. Y/n's vision started to fill with dancing black dots.
She muttered under her breath,
"Why me?",
and collapsed .   

"It's hard to breath but that's alright"

i'll explain why I end my pov's like this.
It's cos I want to let readers come up with their own endings. If that's what you plan to do, I recommend listening to a playlist that has the same vibe as the ending you wanna come up with.
For example, I listen to <slowed songs that make you feel like a villain> on youtube (creds @smylxx on yt) and the ending I came up with is that Y/n lets the hatred engulf her and she takes revenge, murdering those who betrayed her. In the end she cries in regret and ends her own life.
