The next day

"Okay bye bye" gulf waved at mew and his family before he smiled and walked out the house leaving mew upset even more than he as earlier

"Son you don't even know if he's your really mate but you act as if-"

"Ma I know he's my mate he has to be but he only sees me as his nephew" mew frowned at his own words

"Well at least you aren't blood he's just my friend" his father butted in

"That doesn't make it any better he won't even look at me the way I look at him he doesn't feel the way I feel he doesn't even know how I feel I want to tell him but he'll just think I'm a little boy who's his nephew" mew explained

"Well besides the nephew part you Kinda are" his father teased making mew just sigh at his fathers words

"WHEN WILL MATING DAY COME" he threw his arms and hands everywhere making his father laugh and his sister

"Chill big bro your mating day is coming up soon" She said while eating her food making mew sigh unhappily

"Who did I have to wait until mating day instead of my birthday" mew asked again

"Your just special" his dad said holding in his laughter while looking at the sad boy

"I'm tired" mew cried standing up and walking to his room

"Aht no you come whack in here and eat" his mother screamed but mew acted as if he couldn't hear her making his mom set down the cake she had just grabbed from the oven and walk up to his room

"What did I just tell you" she asked and mew pouted standing up from his bed he walked towards her and she pulled him by his ear dragging him out and downstairs

"Now eat" she pushed the pouty boy-

"Now eat" she pushed the pouty MAN in his seat making mew just grab his chopsticks and start eating

The next day (2 days left)

"Mew come here" gulf waved mew over in gym making mew immediately drop all of his things and run towards him while wiping his face with his shirt

"Yes" he asked once gulf held his hand out

"Gimme the invention to your mating day/ re birthday again I guess" gulf spoke and mew shook his head looking down at gulf

Gulf came to about mews chest area, he wasn't so tiny it's just mew was very big and tall

"What do you mean your dad and mom said you would give it to me" gulf whined making mew gulp a little

"I'm not giving it" mew said still not giving up while looking at the pouty baby in front of him

Just when mew was about to give up gulf had a plan

"Then how about we play a match"

5 minutes later

"Remember if I get it inside the goal then you give me right" gulf asked just to make sure Mew wouldn't back out

"Hm" mew responded making gulf smile

Mew stood there before he watched gulf kick the ball, he purposely went the other way letting gulf score

It was worth it once gulf started happily dancing and clapping his tiny hands together

The next day

"Finally" mew immediately sat up running down stairs seeing everything was ready for his mating day

Mating day happened every ten years in there country no one knows why or how it happens but every ten years the people who turn 18 and are supposed to find there mates don't until mating day

It just so happens that when mew turned 18 it was the mating year so he had to wait to have his mate, although they does have some sort of clues who there mates could be there not sure until mating day

There mate also doesn't know until mating day

(A/N Don't know if it's true I just came up with something new 🤷🏽)

"Look who finally decided to get up on this nice Saturday evening" mews mother spoke putting her hand on her hip glaring at him

"Ma it's only 7" mew whined taking a chicken wing from the table

"It's almost 9 pm boy you've been up there in your room all day cleaning working out and what else taking about 5 showers running up all my damn water" she hissed as he took another piece of chicken

"Everyone will be here about 11 and gulf will be late since he has a dinner with his family he'll be here around 11:50 almost the time when you'll find your mate" she said and mew whined then smiled

"Okay I'm going to get ready" mew said and she shook her head as he grabbed another piece of chicken and ran upstairs

2 hours later

Everyone inside the house talked and laughed together while mew was in the corner pouting looking at the time

"11:55" mew sighed before he ran upstairs to do something making his mother follow him

"What's the matter" she asked watching mew brush his teeth

"I'm going to bed" he said making her eyes widen

"You haven't even found your mate yet" she said

"He's not coming" mew pouted putting his tooth brush back making her laugh

"Quit being dramatic" she laughed dragging him back down just when mew was coming down he saw gulf come inside with a bag inside his hand

Gulf smiled as he walked past some people trying to give mew his gift but stopped once he smelt something

The powerful fragrances of dark chocolate, black tea, and lava invaded his nose and hugged his scents likings to perfection

(A/N don't ask how those smell cause i don't even know I used google to find scents for alphas and omegas also betas and they said those are good ones for alphas, for betas they smell like tuna 😂 but in a good way not a bad and they said all omegas smell sweet like cookies)

No one realized what was happening until a loud thud was heard then gulf had ran out of the house

He was confused, happy, shocked, he didn't understand what was happening how could this have happened

The person who he had called his nephew since mew was 10 was his mate

Something must be wrong, he had gone this far without a mate sure he wanted one but he thought he didn't have one

Turned out it was just right in front of him the whole time
