Bang Bang, gunshots. I jolt awake in my seat sweating. I had nightmares about that night sometime. I just wasn't expecting one now. Or that I'd fall asleep in class. 'Guess I stayed up too late training last night.' Jackson sat next to me so he leaned over and whispered "hey orphan boy, having a nightmare about showing your parents a failed test. Oh wait you don't have any my bad." Then he laughed.
His laugh caught the teachers attention. And the fact that I stood up from my seat. "Jackson what is so funny? Also Kole please sit back down." Jackson's laughter subsided but my anger didn't. I stayed standing. "Kole sit back down. I wont ask again." I was use to these comments but after that nightmare I wasn't gonna shrug it off.
I jumped on Jackson and punched him square in the nose. A loud crunch was heard as it broke. I pulled my bloodied fist back and went to punch him again. The teacher caught my arm before the punch could connect and got me off of Jackson. He stood up and spit out some blood holding his nose. "Why on earth did you do that to Jackson?" I steadied my breath and said "he made a comment on my dead parents and laughed. I'm tired of hearing him say this stuff so I snapped and punched him." The teacher took a breath. "Alright Jackson, head to the nurses office and get cleaned up. Come to the principals office directly when your done. Kole you clean up in a bathroom and do the same. I'll call the principal and explain. Then I'll call your parents." 'Oh no' was all I could think while I walked to the bathroom.
