My name is Kole, I am currently 16 and in high school. The night my birth parents died I was taken in by the mafia family. The head has a soft spot for kids so he adopted me as his son. I now know every member of the mafia family and they are all overprotective.
Dad (the head) knows that if people knew my father was the head of the mafia family I'd be put in serious danger. If I had bodyguards at school it would be obvious. So instead I wear a bracelet and necklace with tracking devices in them. The bracelet is a simple black band, nothing worth attention if I happen to be taken or lost. The necklace has a silver chain with a cross hanging from it. The cross itself is large with a black gem in the center. I'm 5'6 with jet black hair and emerald green eyes. You can't tell but I have a strong build. Like I look kinda weak and easy to push around. But since I was 6 I could hold a gun and skillfully use a knife. My uniform prevents people from seeing that I actually have any muscle.
The uniform is black with a navy blue tie. It is a public school though. The uniforms make it easier to keep track of the students. I have good grades and keep up in class. Since I look like a pushover I get picked on. Mainly by this football player named Jackson and his lackys. They call me dumb names like nerd, weakling, orphan, and other stuff.
I don't have many friends since I prefer to be alone. I am pretty close with these two twins. They are identical with dark brown, close to black, hair and light blue eyes. Their names are Nathaniel and William. Everyone just calls them Nathan and Will though. I have a crush on them but haven't told them. They're both pretty protective of me too. Today was the day my secret would be exposed.
