Daryl looks over the man he's with, this man has a natural happiness radiating off of him, like this whole apocalypse is a cake walk, as if their lives aren't on the line every single day they leave their comfort zone. Daryl likes this; this is a change from Rick and Glenn who's seemingly always worried and weary of everything. Rhett is in a middle of telling his story about injuring his back when this man appeared in front of them, his hair brown and short, his eyes big and scared. "I-I'm not here to fight." He stutters, fear and doubt coating his voice. Daryl immediately raised his crossbow at him as Rhett steps in front of the man, his tall and broad physique towering over the thinner and shorter man. The nameless man reverses himself a few steps behind as his back hit the passenger door behind him.

"Who are you?" Daryl asks sharply, he looks around just to make sure this man is alone, "A-aron, my name is Aaron and I'm here to help you." Rhett stepped in front of him again and said, "We don't need your help." Rhett said to him threateningly, his deep southern accent raised and smooth as honey, Aaron visibly flinched at Rhett's advance towards him, "Actually.." Aaron trailed "You do, you all need my help." He sighs, "Where's Rick?" he asks. Daryl half-pounced on him and screamed on his face,"How did you know Rick? Have you been following us?" he questions the unknown man, veins bulging from his neck. "Look, i know this looks bad, and yes, I've been following Rick, i know everything, from Rick meeting you." He points to Rhett, "To him stumbling upon your cabin."

Rhett straightened his stance and asked, "Why? what do you want from us?", "As i said earlier, I'm here to help." Aaron shyly smile at the two of them. Daryl looks at Rhett, Rhett looks back at him, searching Daryl's face for answers. Daryl sighs, "Wait here." he says to Aaron. Daryl then pulled Rhett to the side to talk to him, "Do we trust him?" Daryl asks the taller man, "If we give him a chance." Rhett replied, "I don't know, man. He seems sketchy." the redneck replied. "Daryl, he's been following us for a while, if he wanted to kill us, he would've do it in our sleep."

"You thinkin' we should bring this guy back to the group?" Daryl questions him but Rhett just shrugged in agreement. Daryl read his face for a few minutes, finding a tinge of doubt but there doesn't seem to be any. The both of them nodded to each other and went back to the waiting man.

"We have three questions we want to ask you." Daryl stated and Aaron just nodded at them. "How many walkers have you killed?", "Do we keep count? because I'm sure a lot." Aaron smiles at the both of them but Rhett is the only one who smiled back. "How many people have you killed?", "Three." Aaron answered darkly, "Why?" Daryl asks again, "T-they were bad,bad people. I didn't have a choice." Aaron stutters. "We understand." Rhett nods. "So, am i in?" Aaron asks them, his eyes wide with hope. Daryl looks at Rhett but to his surprise, Rhett's eyebrows are arching and on his face, plastered a wide and genuine smile.

"Classic Rhett" Daryl thought to himself.
