Chapter 3:

The archer quietly headed to the kitchen to grab some water. He found a glass and filled it with iced water. Downing it, he left the kitchen and entered his room, locking the door, so everyone knew not to disturb him. Clint had a dark past that no one knew about, and he didn’t plan on anyone finding out either.

Clint threw his jacket on the bed and entered the bathroom, peeling off his attire and shoving it into the laundry basket beneath the sink. He then stepped into the shower, defeated and dazed as he cleaned himself. The archer washed his hair and his body, and after he was done, he left the shower. He dried himself and wrapped the towel around the lower half of his body, before exiting the bathroom. The cool breeze of the air-conditioned room made him feel more relaxed and less tense. As Clint got dressed, he decided to put his past behind him and just accept what was coming to him. He made a bet, he wouldn’t back out of it now. He was a man of his word, everyone knew that. When they went on missions, and Clint had to deal with a bomb, or some enemies stronger than him, he would always reassure the Avengers that he would come back. And he always did, either fine, or a little scratched up.

The assassin pulled on his white hoodie that was previously lying on his bed, as well as a pair of comfortable grey baggy sweatpants. He sucked in a deep breath before unlocking the door and opened it. However, he was shocked to see all the Avengers there, standing there, waiting for him. Tony’s hair was wet and had a change of clothes, showing that he showered too. “Hey buddy, are you good?” Tony asked, concern written all over his face. “You don’t have to do it, you know. We can just call off the bet. I saw how distressed you were just now, did something happen? Was it your past? We can totally just not do it-” Tony rambled but Clint cut him off, an amused smile on his face.

“It’s alright, Tony. I’ll do it. It was just something bad from my past that triggered me in the ring, that's all. I’ll do it,” Clint smiled as he left the room, Jarvis immediately switching off the air-conditioning in the room.

“Okay, if you say so,” Tony smiled genuinely at his friend, before his smile turned into a smirk. “Since you agreed, you know what that means,”

“Yes Tony, I know, but can we go to the living room to discuss this?” Clint chuckled and rolled his eyes. All the Avengers made their way to the living room and sat at the dining table.

“So, as you all know, Clint and I made a bet. Whoever lost would be the Avengers’ pet for 2 months. And now, we will be making a contract for all of us,” Tony grinned while Clint shook his head, smiling. The rest of the Avengers just chuckled and agreed to whatever was going to happen. For the next hour, they came up with a contract that everyone agreed to.

END OF CONTRACT

All the Avengers were happy with it. Clint? Not so much. But he was prepared to face the humiliation and embarrassment that was sent his way. Tony was grinning slyly from ear to ear, Natasha was smirking, Thor was smiling brightly, happy to try something new, while Steve and Bruce looked at each other knowingly. This wasn’t going to end well.

“Right, so now we have the contract, we have to actually put it into action. So, Clint,” Tony’s face broke into a mischievous smirk. “Kneel,”
