“Antonio,” Koneko whispered into his ear, trying hard not to wake Rossweisse that lay beside him in a deep sleep, “Antonio!” She shook harder, “wake up!” She shook him harshly to no avail so she instead lifted her hand and smacked him on the cheek, multiple smacks in the same spot for extra measures

“Neko-chan?” He sniffed, cheek burning from the force she used, “what's wrong baby?” He sat up, Koneko rarely ever came to personally wake him up, and the times she did she needed his help with something important.

“Bella and Harry! I got a call from the Shifters saying Bella jumped off a cliff and a call from your father saying Harry had a heart attack and died this afternoon!” She quickly muttered, and she also watched as Antonio’s face dropped in sadness, his eyes shining before he blinked them away.

“Harry died, and Bella tried to kill herself?” He scoffed, still half asleep, he had a nerve to really kill the girl this time around.

“I need to go see what this problem with Bella is about first.” He groaned, he would drive there, not feeling in the mood to use magic at the moment, in fact he wasn’t in the mood to get out of bed period. It was supposed to be his day off, but instead he has to go check up on his suicidal sister who seems to get off on people worrying about her.

“At this time of night she decided to try and kill herself?” He looked out the window, “at this time of day she decided to kill herself?” He corrected himself, already feeling a way of exhaustion wash over him as he stepped out of bed to throw on some clothes.

“Antonio, Koneko rolled her eyes, “It’s two in the afternoon.” She scoffed but understood where he was coming from, everyone was still in bed and enjoying their relaxing afternoon, the first relaxing afternoon they’ve had since they moved here.

“Coming?” He tossed on a set of clothing that he may or may not have worn already.

“Yeah!” She smirked, “haven’t had any proper ‘us’ of time in a while.” She didn’t mean that in a bad way, everyone is so focused on the fact a child is going to be born and work that they have yet to finish in Japan that no one really had time to themselves.

“I bet someone took Bella home, so we’ll have to stop by there first.” He groaned, grabbing a pair of keys out of his nightstand and planting a kiss onto Rossweisse’s cheek, “lets go.” He hurried out the door, with Koneko clutching onto his arm.

“Pretty upsetting that we didn’t use magic,” She whined, already feeling tired inside the car Antonio was driving. Of course the man was going way over the speed limit and probably risked them flipping over into some tree, but he was a good driver, and had practiced going this speed for a while.

“I agree, but I’m still a little sluggish from my distribed rest.” Antonio frowned, he would for sure, teleport but he didn’t feel like it at the moment, maybe later but right now, he didn’t want to use magic.

So they sat in silence, the two quietest of the group relaxing with soft music playing in the background. The engine of the Hummer Antonio drove was the only loud noise that they could hear. It was times like this that Antonio enjoyed, but sadly didn’t get to have because of the workload. He’ll have to fix that, he’ll have to get as much work done as possible in fear of never having time to himself to spend with anyone.

“Antonio, look.” Koneko pointed ahead, she smelt the girl from afar but seeing her was a whole nother thing, “I guess Cold Ones like to wear layers like that?” It was actually pretty hot today, she was wearing a tank top, skirt, and scandals, something she never would wear but it was just too hot today for her not to.

“They sparkle in the sun, remember?” Antonio laughed, he found the layering funny also, but he already knew it was necessary if they wanted to appear normal, well as normal as a young girl dressed like a grandma could appear.

“Antonio! Stop Bella!” Jacob rushed out, in a hurry, his face was red and he aggressively shook his fingers at the Cold One, and Bella hurried towards a car in front of them.

“Stop her?” Antonio stepped out, along with Koneko, he was confused, wasn’t she just trying to kill herself?

“Yeah, she’s trying to go to Italy to save her ex leech!” He growled, he wasn’t a fan of the leeches and Bella but that didn’t mean he wanted her to die, Antonio would be upset!

“Bella,” Antonio grabbed her by the arm, snatching her away from Alice to face him, “what do you think your doing?” He spat it out, his face also getting a little red from anger, no way was she going to leave Charlie to mourn by himself just so she could go save a guy that left her for dead in the woods.

“Saving Edward! Let me go!” She struggled in his arms, tears clearly staining her cheek as she wiggled and squirmed in his hold.

“Saving Edward?” Antonio scoffed, “you want to save someone who left you for dead?” He sounded mocking when in reality it was just disbelief, was Bella mental? Did Charlie need to send her away for a while, maybe sending her back to Renee would’ve done her some good.

“Yes, save Edward! I need to save him, he's going to kill himself!” She whined, her struggling appearing less but she still squirmed nonetheless.

“Antonio let her go!” Alice swooped in, a threatening glare on her face, “she needs to do this! She has to save my brother!” She also seemed like she would cry if her body let her, but Antonio didn’t care about that.

“Your brother left my sister to die!” He gave a threatening glare back, lifting Bella up and shoving her towards Koneko who grabbed her enough to where she couldn’t run.

“He had a reason too!” She cried, “it was for the best!” She tried getting at Koneko but Antonio gripped her arm also.

“For the best? Bella’s been trying to kill herself ever since! That wasn’t for the best!” He scoffed, he let go of her arm, but he didn’t let her get past him.

“Antonio, we're running out of time! He could be dead by now!” Bella cried, she looked a mess at this point, struggling getting weaker and weaker the more she cried.

“Please Antonio, you would do the same if it was Akeno or Asia!” Alice tried smiling through her distress but Antonio simply rolled his eyes.

“Asia is always under strict protection, and Akeno is perfectly capable of handling herself, she might need a little extra hand but she can manage.” He shrugged, “Bella is human, she needs constant protection, but the people who are supposed to be protecting her aren't doing that.” He glared, he had a nerve to rip the girl apart and burn her.

“Please, Antonio! Please, pretty please!” Bella cried, she had stopped struggling and was now clinging onto Koneko to prevent herself from falling onto the ground, eyes swollen and red with skin looking paler than it should Antonio finally relented.

"Fine." He frowned, annoyed, “we’re going to go and save him.”

“Jacob, you're free to return home and inform dad that I’ll be handling Bella while he gets everything situated.” He would help, but only because he wants to get to Edward first, and because he wants to make sure she doesn't get herself killed in the process.

"Where are you all going?" He glared at Alice.

"V-Volturi, Italy." She sputtered, a little glad that he’ll be coming to help save Edward.

"Let's go then." He snatched the two of them up and summoned a circle, we'll arrive in some alleyway of Volturi." He knew the stupid pixie couldn't go in the sun so he'll just drop the brat in the alleyway like the rat she was at the moment.

"Arrive?" Alice and Bella both gasped and disappeared from sight, leaving Jacob to stare in disbelief that Antonio actually agreed, he was sure he would’ve snatched Alice’s head off.
