"Mahito-kun!" She called out from behind when  she saw the Blue, long haired male walking with his friend, Getou. Mahito turned around to spot that sweet and bubbly girl with (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes.

"(Y/n)-chan!"

He waved at her with a huge smile. Mahito was a 28 year old Male who had seen the horrors of the titans five years ago. The patches on his face had formed because of that. His smile almost always felt fake, and he had forgotten to fear anything. Five years ago, when Shiganshina was attacked, Mahito's home was destroyed and so was (y/n)'s. But they both had prepared now, to never lose anything to the titans again.

Mahito had gotten into an accident and thus gained those patches and stitches all over his body. But those didn't seem to bother (y/n).

"It's our cleaning duty today, let's go!"

(Y/n) said in her usual cheery and happy tone. Mahito nodded and waved at Getou before leaving for the cleaning duty.

"Captain Levi put you on it?"

"Yeah, what about you Mahito-kun?"

"Same, it was that shorty."

"Hey! If he hears you you're done for!"

"That's a 'if' my dear."

He said while leaning closer to her, she blushed a bit and looked aside. "Oi brats." They heard that feared voice of the captain. "Oh-oh..." (y/n) sighed as Mahito turned around with a spin and cheerfully greeted the captain.

"I put ya' brats on cleaning duty. Get to work." 

He said as the two saluted and turned around. (Y/N) lightly punched Mahito in the stomach, "He heard us!" She said with a frown while Mahito chuckled. They cleaned for a while and afterthat left off for dinner. "(Y/n)-chan~" she heard a familiar voice when she was heading to the dining hall with Sasha. 

"What...?"

She turned around with a slightly tired frown, she was clearly tired from all the cleaning. "Whoa, you look beat!" He said with a smile as she looked aside again, "Of course I do... I was the one who did most of the cleaning..." She mumbled as Mahito chucked and scratched the back of his head. 

"Aww, you know I was worn out! I took down two titans today! Damn Erwin has me working hard!"

He said as the group settled down for dinner. Soon they went off to sleep, not knowing what was in store for them the next day. They were taken out for a mission, the mission that went horribly wrong.

"Levi! It's a 15 meter titan! You need to get your squad outta here!"

Y/n shouted while galloping beside Mahito as he grit in worry. "Tch, where are your manners brat? Petra! The squad outside the forest!" Levi shouted and then, they split up.

Mahito and Y/n left off towards the mountain area while Levi left off to the forest, hoping that the titan would follow him, so that he could finish it. The forest area, where levi headed off to was the one where he has advantage. But, unfortunately, the titan followed (y/n) and Mahito, into the rocky area.

"Shit!"
Mahito shouted as (y/n) galloped on the horse beside him, she stood up on the horse and drew her gear. "You stay back Mahito, I'll take care of this one!" She shouted.

"But it's too dangerous alone!"

Mahito shouted and then grit his teeth when she flew off to attack the titan, skillfully dodging every attack and failing all of it's attempts to grab her. 

"Damn she's good..."

Mahito said as he smiled, but he wasn't ready to let it be, so he took off with his gear too. "Mahito! Stay down!" She shouted in another attempt to stop him.

"If you think I'll let you get hurt then you're wrong."

"And if you think I'll let you end up with another path in your face you're dead wrong you fatso!"

"I'm not fat Lady! Ever heard about irony!"

"You calling me fat!?"

"WHY WOULD I CALL A BEAUTIFUL LADY FAT!?"

(All this shouting was going on while attacking the titan)

"Ugh, this dude is troublesome-" Y/n said and took off with full power to attack the nape, "Can't you see I'm having a conversation here!?" She sliced it and landed on her feet.

"So what were you saying about me being fat?"

"I said you're beautiful!!"

"Well you're handsome yourself!!"

"I have freaking patches on my face!"

Y/n blushed when she realized what she'd said, but the heat of the moment had her convinced. "It doesn't matter to me. You're beautiful Mahito." she said and approached him. "I love you the way you are." She smiled as he stared at her in shock.

"C-come again...?"

"I love you... Mahito."

"Even... when I'm ugly?"

"You're not..."

"Then... I love you too..."

"Even when I'm chubby..."

"That doesn't matter to me."

She smiled and instantly hugged him, leaving him with a kiss as she smiled in satisfaction. "No matter the cost, I'll always protect you." She said as he kissed her again, holding her waist as he invaded her mouth. He hugged her for a good amount of time until they heard-

"Ahem, get a room you two."

"C-CAPTAIN LEVI!" They both shouted as Levi smiled a bit.

"Don't worry, I didn't see any kissing..."

"YOU SAW!!"
