I sat in my brothers room listening to music I was grounded and my parents were busy arguing about who knows what. Today was finally the last day of summer and tomorrow was the first day of tenth grade, I was excited since I'd only have to deal with my parents for a little amount of time.

I sat there in my room thinking should I stay or leave. And after those five seconds of thinking I decided to leave and maybe meet up with my friends at their little hangout.

"Hey Jess imma go met up with Samantha and the guys I'll be back later." I spoke walking to the window.

He gave me an uneasy look then looked at the door. "Alright I'll keep a look out for you, but be back around seven ok?."

I nodded. "Ok I'll be back by then." opened the window and jumped out.

"Alright let me texts Samantha real quick."

Nailea
"Hey same I'll be there in fifteen minutes ."
Sam
"Oh what about your folks, aren't you
aren't you grounded idiot?"
Nailea
"Don't worry that's all taken care of ;)"

                                           "Alright if you say so"

After I texts Samantha I began to run to the park and meet up with them. I knew it wouldn't that fun since I'd just be third wheeling Samantha and her boyfriend Philips. But it was better then being at home anything was.

Once I got to the park and ran to the field to watch Philips and his team lose another game. It was kinda sad but I usually got free food from Samantha and met a lot of cute baseball boys.

"Hey Sam how's the game going." I said walking up to sit nexts to her.

"Hey Nailea, the games going pretty good." She spoke while bitting her nails.

...

Hours had and it felt like it was never gonna end. I was sitting there bored out of my mind till I spotted one of the kids about to bat. He was quite fine.

I pointed at the kid. "Hey uh, Sam who's the kid that's nexts to bat?"

"Oh god." She mumbled. "That's Benny Rodriguez he's the best player in the league, oh so I've heard."

"Hmm Benny Rodriguez huh?." I said smirking and nudging at her.

She looked up at me. "What are you gonna do?"

"I'll show you after the game." I said and winked at her.

"Oh god." She said placing her hand over her face.

I smiled at her and began to watch Benny get into his stance to bat. He looked focus,confident he definitely knew what he was doing.

~Crack~

My eyes widened at the site of how far he hit the ball. He was good really good, I was never interested in baseball till now.

Sam sighed. "And that's game, maybe nexts game they'll win."

I chuckled. "Maybe?, but hey what time is it?"

She grabbed out her phone "Oh uh, 7:56"

My eyes winded "Fuck, I gotta go I'll see you tomorrow at school." I shouted and quickly bolted home.

...

Once I got home I saw the porch light off. I signed in relief hoping everyone had fallen asleep and decided to sneak in threw Jesses room and act like I was there the whole time.

I walked up to the window and knocked on it softly. "Jess open the window."

I stood there knocking for a good five minutes knocking till I saw Jess rubbing his eyes.

"Where the hell have you been?!" He shouted.

"Shhhh I lost track of time." I whispered climbing back inside. "Sorry.."

He rolled his eyes. "Just go to bed your lucky they didn't notice you were gone." He said pushing me out his room.

I rolled my eyes and tipped toe slowly to my room. I was happy they didn't notice I was gone or I'd be dead but hurt they didn't notice their poor baby gone. Some parents how irresponsible ...shame on them.

I got to my room and got ready for bed still thinking about the kid at the game. Sad how you fall in love with kids you'll never see again, I thought before dozing off to sleep.
