Sierra's POV

Ok. So I know that Christian likes me, but I honestly don't know what it is with him and Casey. I mean, come on. We have known each other for literally forever and I still have not found out why. Can't they just be friends for a day? Would it kill them? Don't answer because it might.

In 2 hours Chris is going to pick me up for our..........date? Could you even call it that? A date. Sounds like a boyfriend and girlfriend spending time together but I can't be in that type of relationship...... right? Chris and I CAN'T be in a relationship. It can't happen. Can it? Ugh! I was getting so worked up over the thought that I was getting a headache.
"Mom," I yell, which didn't make the ache any better.
"What is it honey?" she yells back. Again, not helping the head.
"Do we have an Advil? I'm getting a migraine."
"Check in your sisters old room. Don't ask me why it would be in there but your brother likes to hide things in there," she yells in response.

Ok, so I haven't really talked about my brother a whole lot. Or my sister. Come to think of it, I haven't talked about any of my family members. Well, my older sisters name is Elizabeth. We call her Ele for short. So Ele is 27 and has a fiancé. Not so much of a fiancé if you have had 2 kids with them. It's one thing if the protection breaks once but twice, you should just stop using it altogether. So my sister has had some ups and downs but she is finally settling down and having someone to call her own. Just like everyone else in this world has someone to look after them......... sorry. I got distracted. My brother on the other hand is the total opposite of Ele. Ele is responsible and mature. Think of a 5 year old boy that is annoying, crazy, and immature.................... and multiply it times 100. That is just a grasp of what Roy is like. Roy is my obnoxious little brother. Whenever I had to go trick-or-treating, he would always tag along. Now I'm not saying that at two he was going trick-or-treating. No he was born on October 25. Mom took him out as a newborn.

I say mom. My birth mom died when I was 3. She is really my stepmom. Her name is Sophia Hellums. Although her maiden name is Thesarulugen. It must have been a pain in the butt to write at school. And imagine saying "Sophia Tre....... Tar....... Ther....... Just come to the principals office". Don't ask me how to pronounce it. I have no idea. She is not always loving and caring (read "not always" as "never") and whenever we can, my brother and I go to stay with Ele. As for my father, well, he died right after Sophia found out she was pregnant with Roy. Not right, right after but you know what I mean. I never knew my father very well. We would always fight. But everyone told me that he was a good man.

As I walk to my sisters old room I smell something sweet. Mom must be making brownies for the party tomorrow. It's Christians going away party. My mom thought it would be nice to say good riddance. While also making it seem sweet. So as I open the door that smell is wiped away. All I see, smell, and feel is dust. Thankfully I don't have to go inside or I would not be leaving at all. The Advil is right on the floor in front if the door. I take 2 and lay on my bed waiting for Christian to come. I hear a knock on the door but it doesn't sound at all like Christians usual knock. I open the door and it's Christian. He is wearing a tux but it doesn't look like a formal one. His blonde hair was was pulled back with gel and he smelled like hot cocoa. He stared at me dumbfounded. I wasn't wearing anything "cute". I was wearing a baby blue dress that went to my knees and had long baby blue sleeves and white flats. My fudge hair was curled and I had some makeup on.
"You ready to go?" he squeaks uncertainly.
"Sure," I say, stepping out of the house. "Where are you taking me?"
"Oh you'll know it when you see it," he responds. He has a smile that I have never seen on his face: mischievous, uneasiness, and maybe some trickery. As we are driving, I start to see familiar sights.

We finally park and I have a memory very close to my heart start to grow. It was were we used to play when we were younger. I didn't always live in the States. I used to live in Britian. I'm a little British but only 1/10 on my dad's side. We moved here when I was 2. My mom got to see a year of the States. When I started going to school, I instantly started going on "play dates" with Christian because our stepmoms were so close. He had a stepmom too. I guess that's why we just kinda clicked. But even when we got older we kept coming, without our moms. Eventually we started inviting Casey. She never really fit in.

As Christian opens the door for me I recognize where we are.
"The Park," I say. Man, I missed this place.
"Yea," he says. "I know how much you love it here so I decided to make a picnic for us. For you Lady Sierra," he says and hands me a rose.
"Why thank you Sir Christian," I say taking the rose gently. As he sets out the blanket for our picnic, I look up at the sky. It was already beginning to darken. My legs were cold since it was winter. As I sat down I pulled up the blanket to cover my legs. He pulls out a bottle (of cocoa) and pours me some.
"To our old memories," he says.
"And to new ones," I add as we click out glasses.
