Scissor Seven is a Netflix Original, and this book was indeed inspired by such.
It's an amazing show that definitely deserves more love! Though the story may progress quite slow at first, and result in the dropping of the show, please watch the whole series before doing so, I'm sure you won't regret it!
Anyhow, these one-shots are in no way canon to the show, simply made for entertainment.
