Blood of Olympus Alternate Ending (Percy Jackson Fanfic)

Jason

Jason's vision cleared but what he saw was desperately confusing.

First thing he noticed; a teary-eyes Piper ran over to him and held his face in her hands crying.

Jason was exhausted but he tried to remember why. He was fighting the sphinx... And then.. oh gods. And then he was raked in the chest, being poisoned by its claws.

So then how was he still alive?

Second thing Jason noticed, he was alive, but as he looked around the semi-circle of gods, goddesses, and demigods, none of them looked very happy.

That sort of felt like a rock being thrown around in his stomach, but as Jason looked around he realized a third thing.

Annabeth was next to him, bawling and hugging an unconscious Percy in her arms.

"Oh gods!" Jason gasped, looking at Percy's pale limp body. "What happened!?"

Annabeth ignored Jason as she felt Percy's neck, feeling for a pulse. Her horrible cry gave away what she had found, or rather what she hadn't.

"No, no..." Jason refused to believe it. Suddenly a wall of memory crashed upon Jason. He remembered seeing Percy's memory, what he had done to Misery in Tartarus, and then he was back, and... What happened after that?

Obviously nothing good, Jason thought as he looked at Percy once more.
'Frank" Jason almost yelled. "Frank bring Percy and I to the ocean.." Jason gasped still tired as he pointed to the coast about a mile away.
With a nod, Frank turned into a dragon, where a shivering Annabeth, her boyfriend, Piper, Leo, and Hazel climbed on. Jason flew, Poseidon dissolved into sea foam which Jason figured meant: 'I'll meet u there'. Jason didn't waste time figuring out which of the gods were coming, except for Zeus, who gave Jason a great smile and a pat on the back as he flew with him.

They made it to the beach, where Poseidon was waist deep, in eerily calm waters. Jason wasted no time flying to the waters, after snatching Percy from Frank's scaly back.

6 demigods and 12 gods stood around Jason as he placed Percy in the waters, waiting and hoping desperately for a reaction.
