Life can be hard

Rough day

Kate had been sat on the same uncomfortable chair for an hour and was beginning to worry even more.She got up to go and buy a drink when she felt her phone ringing in her pocket,"Hello," She said putting her change in the vending machine.
"How's your boyfriend?" An unknown voice asked.
Kate bent down to pick up her water,"Who is this?"
On the other line someone laughed before hanging up.
Kate went back over to Severide,"Any news?"
Kelly shook his head,"I better get back to 51,ring me when you get any news." He hugged her good bye and left for the firehouse. Kate watched him leave and put her head on her knees and sighed,today was really proving to be a rough one.
