Jungkook turned in his bed for the tenth time that night and stayed up till dawn. He felt stupid for agreeing to give her space. He felt stupid for not doing what he should have done. He really wanted to hold her close, in his arms, till she eventually calms down, he wanted to tell her that she does not have to feel sorry and that she was not pathetic, maybe it was not right for him to do so at that very moment, but he wanted to ask her to give him a chance but she looked so broken that he didn't want to push her further.
He looked at the ceiling as his alarm rang for the second time, he hit the snooze option again and he heard someone knock on his door.
"Jungkook? You up or you not going to gym today?" Jimin's soft voice asked.
"Huh." He whispered as Jimin pushed the door and it opened.
"You didn't lock your door?" Jimin asked as Jungkook looked at him wordlessly.
"Kook? You alright?" Jimin asked as he looked at Jungkook.
"I'm alright." He said as he sat up in his bed. Lack of sleep was evident in his eyes but he didn't bother. He wanted make sure she is alright. But he didn't want to annoy her and wanted to respect the space she asked him to give her.
"It's getting late." was all Jungkook said as Jimin looked at him. He took his towel and a pair of fresh clothes and walked into the bathroom to do his morning routine.

"Y'all, we are graduating!" Hobi said holding his internship completion certificate and danced around with a crazy sense of enthusiasm as Jimin chuckled.
"World's scarier after graduation." Taehyung said out of nowhere and Hoseok stopped to glare at him.
"Don't be a party pooper right now." Hobi said as Taehyung shrugged and continued to walk ahead.
Jungkook was silent most of the time, laughing once or twice at their silly antics but other than that he observed them and his surroundings, that's all. His eyes involuntarily travelled towards the area of the library as he hoped to see her again just like every day when she walked back to her dorm at around this time. He always looked at her and reassured himself that she was doing fine and maybe she will be fine on her own, she will be fine without him in her life.
He never really said what happened that night to neither Jimin nor Taehyung. He just stayed silent whenever they asked him about her and they didn't pry further when they received his silence.
"Koo? Wanna hangout at our spot?" Hobi asked as he wrapped his arm around his shoulder.
"Yeah. Sure." He said as they walked towards the cafeteria. His eyes kept looking at the library hoping for her to walk out but she never walked out and he sighed as he looked away. He wondered if it was a sign from fate to tell him to stop what he is doing and move on, he thought for a tiny second but dismissed the thought as they walked into the cafeteria.
"So. Kook. Are you gonna sing again?" Hobi asked as Jin joined their group with a loud cheer.
Young Hee followed him and sat beside Jimin and he felt everyone's eyes on him.
"Who is singing?" Jin asked as Jungkook smiled nervously.
"No, I probably won't. I don't know what I should sing if I decide to sing too." Jungkook said as Jimin laughed.
"You can compose your own song." Taehyung suggested as Jungkook paused.
He can compose a song.
He thought as he sat up straight and the table looked at him.
"The annual fest is gonna be with the graduation ceremony?" He asked them as Jimin nodded.
