The next few weeks went by smoothly, you and Frank were back to being inseparable, possibly even more so than before. It was impossible for others around you to understand why neither of you could see how in love with each other you were, Frank hadn't even spoken to another girl in weeks other than to flirt on occasion. Non of them came close to fixing that hole in his heart where you should be.

"Morning sunshine" you give Frank a cheeky wink as you finish cleaning the bar.

"Guess who has Bart this weekend..." Frank smirks as he sits down, laughing lightly as you roll your eyes and start to make his coffee.

"Ah, so its woman hunting weekend is it?" You reply as you work, you were of course jealous but you were a lot better at hiding it when you were in a good mood.

"Girls love a man with a soft side right?" He shrugs, looking towards Jude as he walks in.

"I imagine they do" he gave a knowing look to you that went right over Franks head. You give Jude a glare before walking over to Frank and handing him his coffee.

"Here you go" you say warmly. As you place the coffee down, Frank in his rush to drink it tries to pick it up before your hands hand moved. Theres a moment when your hands touch, gliding past each other where you both feel an electrical current running though you. Shocked in unison you both look up, just starting at each other.

"Oh just fuck already... Jesus..." Comes an exasperated chuckle from you bar manager, snapping you both out of the trance.

"Shut it, I pay you to work not to be a funny man." You try and blow the joke off, the last thing you wanted was to look like a fool in love in front of Frank who was clearly ready to move onto another woman. Frank frowns a little as he watches you swat the notion away, trying to figure out what it was that made him deicide he wouldn't settle earlier when he knew he loved you, before you had gotten over him.

"You erm, you coming to Jack's dinner party?" He clears his throat, bringing your attention back to him and moving the awkward conversation along.

"Of course" you scoff in jest as if it was a stupid question "free alcohol and incredible food" this earns you a hearty laugh from Frank.

"Not his joyous company then? Just his booze and food?" He mocks playfully.

"You're telling me you're not going for the food?"

"No, I'm going for the friendship." He eyes you and you both chuckle.

"Its not going to be weird is it?" You suddenly pause, biting your lip.

"Weird?" Frank frowns at you.

"You know with Daphne?" Frank cringes inwardly. After he'd heard that her and Jack had started really seeing each other again and you'd agreed to be set up on a date he had thought it was a good idea to message her again. It wasn't until she replied telling him she'd been 'thinking about him a lot' that he decided this was just trouble and nothing good was going to come of it. He didn't love Daphne, he only really liked her because, well, she was up for sex no questions asked and no expectations and whilst he was trying to get over you that's what he needed... but to betray you and Jack like that for sex that, clearly wasn't helping him move on, didn't seem worth it. So he ignored the text.

"No why would it be?"

"Nothing else happened between you did it?" You regret the words as soon as they slip out, why should you care, you weren't together.

"No Y/N, I promise." he looks at you sternly before leaning back on the bar stool and smirking "why you asking anyway, jealous?" He tries his luck, hoping you are.
