I had realised, my sister's going to die, at some point in these games.
"Y/n, you can tell me!" Sae-byeok said, as she saw I was completely zoning out.
"240!!" She yelled, and I heard stomping feet. And many voices.
I started shaking, trembling, sweating, overthinking, breathing heavily.
"061!?" I heard a male voice yell.
"Y/n, are you okay!?" I heard so many voices, I couldn't make out who's this was.
My eyes were watering.
"everyone back up!" I heard Ji-yeong shout, I could kind of see sae-byeok, trying to get to me.
I crawled up in a ball.
"Y/n, take a deep breath with me, come on. It's gonna be okay, 1.. 2.. 3.." Ji-yeong took a breath, and so did I.
"Good! And again, 1.. 2.. 3.." she took another deep breath. I didn't that time, i was too overwhelmed.
I got up and ran to the guards, "may I use the restroom?"
They looked at me, and nodded. I ran to the restroom and locked myself in a cubicle.
I heard the door open, then heard a voice.
"Y/n?" It was sae-byeok.
"Y/n, you can talk to me, I swear. Tell me what's wrong." I came out of the cubicle, my eyes red from crying.
"I'm scared, sae-byeok, I'm scared." I sat on the floor.
"Why? You can tell me." She put her arm around me, and cuddled me.
Ji-yeongs POV
"LET ME GO TO THE BATHROOM!" I shouted at the guards.
"Only two people are allowed in the restrooms at once." The guy with a square on his mask replied.
"YOU BASTARD, MY SISTER IS HAVING A FUCKING PANIC ATTACK IN THERE! WHO KNOWS WHAT THAT GIRL IS DOING TO HER!" I yelled, she could probably hear me. I should quiet down a little.
"Only two people are allowed in the restrooms at once." He repeated himself. He's like a fucking robot.
"Sir please, it's my sister in there. I'm - I'm scared.."
"Ma'am, I'm sorry but I have to follow the rules. Please make your way to your bed." He walked out of the room, the door shutting behind him.
"NO- PLEA-" I fell to the ground, and sobbed.
Y/n POV
"I'm scared, not that I'm going to die, that my sister's gonna die. I have no other family." I cuddled up to sae-byeok.
"Are you serious? I will do ANYTHING to make you happy. I will get her out of here. I will make sure she doesn't die." She brushed my hair away from my face, and held my hand.
She looked at me in the eyes, and made eye contact for a second, then leaned in and kissed me.
She pulled away, "Y/n?"
"Yes?" I replied.
"I really like you, like really." She clutched my hand.
"I like you to, sae-byeok. More than you could ever imagine." I smiled.
She had the biggest smile I had ever seen, I leaned in and kissed her softly.
"I love you, y/n."
"I love you too, darling."
