James hated school more than anyone else in the world. He had good grades, liked his classes, but there was something wrong with his school. It was too boring. "A waste of 7 hours of my day," he once said. He had few friends, in fact he could count them all on his fingers. That number is 4.

He thought that his life would be the same old schedule; wake up, brush teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, and go on the bus. His life was going to change though, and it was going to happen much sooner than he thought.

This was the Monday of September the 7, 2021. James knew this morning too well. He started his routine; brushing, eating, getting dressed, and leaving for the bus. James noticed someone across the street from him while waiting. He quickly looked away, and looked at his old sneakers. When James first stepped on the bus he found an empty seat and sat down. He knew the ride would take 15 minutes and 30 seconds. ( James had used a stopwatch to see how long the ride was.) Something was different though. He looked at the seet across from him and saw someone new. All he could tell was that it was a girl. "Great, now I have to watch out for someone else," he thought to himself.

***Authors note: Hello! Thank you so much for reading my very first chapter. Please read this entire authors note because it is important. So, the backstory behind this is one day my friend (we'll just call him A) A sent me a google doc and invited me to write the other perspective of this story, Sarah. I will be writing Sarah's part, and A will be writing James's part. I will mention his username in the authors note when he makes an account. I will be posting one chapter a day (we have 9 already written) and I am not sure what the schedule will be after that. I know this first chapter was very short but they get longer and longer as we continued writing. I hope you enjoy this! I am very happy to share our works.*** 🙂😉
