(Diamond's POV)It's the next day, and I'm outside of the school looking for a certain broze-haired vampire through the crowd of students.
But then I see him. And he sees me. I began walking towards him, and I am hella nervous. Because, i've desided to tell him that I know what he is. And also I'm gonna tell him about what I am. Hopefully everything goes well...
I walk past him, and as I do, I give him a look telling him to follow me and I make my way into the woods.
(✨~In the woods~✨)
I set my bookbag down on the ground and took a deep breath. My heart began to race as I could hear Edward's footsteps getting closer. When they stopped I felt his presence right behind me.
"I know what you are..." I said. I shivered as I felt his breath against my neck.
(A/N: I know that vampires don't really breathe, but, whatever they do now.)
"Then say it." He said. I stay quiet, for suspense, and I tilt my head slightly, just enough to see him in my periveral. "Say it."
"...Vampire." I finally say for dramatic effect, "Are you afraid?" Edward asked. A smirk slowly crept its way on my face, and the nervousness I felt before went away. I turn to face him and say, in the most monotone voice, "No."
He looked at me confused and surprised by my bland response, "W-what?" He stuttered. "I'm not afraid of you." I said simply "...Why?" He asked, hesitantly. I grab the front of his shirt, gently, and pull him down to my level.
"Because I already knew." I whisper in his ear. He backs away, "You knew?" I nodded, "How? There's no way you could've known..." The vampire said in disbelief. I grinned, "I wanna show you something."
I look around to make sure that no one else was there, and then I gently take Edward's hand.
"Umm, what are yo--" "Sshhhhh..." I slowly shush him as I place my index finger on his lips, "Trust the process." I whispered and then continued. I close his hand and incase it in mine. I exhale as I activate my magic, my hands start to glow and I hear Edward gasp.
When the glowing stopped, I opened our hands, and inside was a large red/pink rose. Amazed, Edward used his free hand to touch the soft petals of the flower. Then he looked at me, and asked, "What are you?"
"I'm a witch. Well, an Elemental Witch to be specific." I answered as I took the rose and tucked it behind my ear. "A Witch? I never knew they actually existed." He said with astonishment.
"Yeah, for centuries witches have kept themsevles on the down-low. I'm not sure why though." I said with a shrug.
There was a moment of silence before Edward spoke, "...If you knew what I was before, why did you..." He trailed off, I finish his sentence for him and said, "Stick around?" He nodded.
"If it were me, I wouldv'e stayed away." He attmitted as he turned his head away from me, making me sadden a little. "Why?" I ask, sadness seaped through my voice and he looked back up at me.
"Because I'm a monster."
I paused for a minute, trying to process what I'd just heard. It broke my heart to hear him say that about himself. "You think that... you're a monster?" I asks, my voice wavering ever so slightly. He replied, "I am."
I stared at him, thinking of what I should say next. "Well, I don't believe that." I say, with all honesty.
He stared at me for a moment, but then he grabbed my arm and began, basically dragging me too... Somewhere.
"Uhh, where are we going?" I ask as I tried not to trip over my own feet.
