Rose was on her bed, confused with everything that had been happening in her life. She wondered if it was only her life, which was not cheerful. People say everything happens for a reason but in her case, she couldn't find any reason why it happened.
When her eyes were overfilled with water, she blinked her eyes to let the tears roll down her cheeks. Then she opened her eyes to stare at the ceiling, which felt as a void to her. She was mentally decided that hers was a depressing life and even if anything good happens, it wouldn't last forever.
Her thoughts were interrupted when the main door pushed open. In a swift motion, she stood from the bed hoping it was Michael but she was wrong. Melisa was in front of Rose with a face of concern and anger, which Rose couldn't understand.
Melisa let out a frustrated sigh seeing Rose's pale face, dark circles covered eyes and her weak body. Melisa yelled "Is it really a tough task to call back to your friend and share whatever you are feeling?"
"Melisa, please..."
Melisa didn't let her finish her sentence. She raised her hand, showing her palm to Rose, indicating her to shut her mouth.
"And the worse, even if I come here, you won't speak anything and shut the door at my face making stupid excuses. But now Rose, I'm not leaving anytime soon." Melisa shouted.
Rose kept quiet with her shouts. Melisa sat on the couch and held Rose's hand, dragging her to sit beside her.
Melisa spoke "Rose, I know whatever that happened is not that easy to forget, but you can't keep yourself confined to these four walls."
"What else should I do, Melisa?" Rose whimpered. She turned her face to Melisa, speaking "I'm scared. Scared of people. Everyone hurts me and it's really too much for me to take."
"Rose..." Melisa held her palm, trying to console her. The day when Rose realized Michael cheated her, she told everything to Melisa. Melisa was beyond shocked and kept trying to comfort Rose but nothing of her trials to keep Rose normal, worked.
"You know how much I love him. I... I trusted him. I gave myself to him. Trusted each and everything he said. But in the end, it is all fake. Why Melisa? What wrong did I do?"
"Rose, I can understand what you are going through but sitting at your house, crying all the day, won't give you answers."
"I can get the answers only if Michael returns. I don't know where he is." Rose yelped. "He... he disappeared just after... he got satisfied with me. Sasha was right. Why would Michael will stay with a boring girl like me? Maybe he got bored of all other girls and to have me, he played all the drama." She sobbed putting her face between her palms.
Melisa wrapped her arm around her, saying "Rose, you know about Michael more than me. Do you seriously think he struggled so much to have you for one night? Any girl, who is in your place, will definitely speak like this, but Rose... we should know why he did that, before jumping into any conclusion. Why don't you ask his friend Marcos? He might have known it."
"I asked. I begged him to tell but he didn't open his mouth. He... he ignored me. What should I do?" She kept wiping her tears, which were flowing down like a never-ending flow. "Michael, Marcos and everyone who is related to Michael... I can't trust them. I feel like Marcos know where Michael is but he is acting in front of me. Marcos considered me as his sister, is this the way someone treats their sister?"
"Rose, truths won't come out by asking only once. You should fight, Rose. Fight with Marcos or whoever you think can give you the information you need. When Michael was with you, you looked brave and you should be brave now too, for yourself."
Melisa held Rose's face between her palms and wiped her tears with her thumbs. She assured "Rose, everything will become fine, someday. Please don't lose your hope and patience. Not for now, at least."
Rose nodded her head, still crying. Melisa said "Now, go and wash your face. I'll prepare something for you to eat. I'll stay with you today."

In the eerie silence, resonated the clank of chains, producing an annoying noise, continuously. Though his wrists were hurting because of his trials to set himself free, Michael didn't stop trying. His hands were bound by chains, attached to hooks, that were hanging from the ceiling. His feet were on the ground attempting to get out of that room but the chains that were tied to his hands on his either side was making it so difficult for him.
"Argh!" he growled so loud that made the security, who were guarding the dark room, gulp.
"Release me bastards, or I'll show you the real hell." Michael roared.
Michael had no idea who they were or what they wanted from him. The day, when he was in Rose's Garden area, feeling the rays of the sun, careless about everything, he felt someone behind him but before he could react, he was hit by a rod on his head that made his eyes blurred and when he was about to regain control of himself, he was sprayed with something, probably a drug spray that made him fall unconscious.
By the time he opened his eyes, he was shackled in chains. They were only untying him when he needed to eat or use the washroom. He attempted to fight and escape but it became impossible to him when the entire area was filled with countless guards having weapons in their hands. Before escaping from there, he needed to know who they were.
"Who the hell are you? What the fuck you want with me?" he kept shouting.
The guard responded after irritated with his continuous shouts "Our boss is coming here, today. Until then keep your fucking mouth shut."
"Who the fuck is your boss?" Michael couldn't stop shouting. Although he had no enough strength, he wasn't able to calm himself. "I swear, I'm gonna break your bones once I get out of here."
The guard entered in, losing his temper with Michael's yells. He put his gun pressed to Michael's temple, angrily. I told you to keep quiet. Don't lose your life before you get to know why the fuck you are here."
Michael looked at him with his rage filled eyes. He didn't open his mouth but raised his leg and kicked the guard between his legs that made him fall on his knees, grunting in pain.
Another guard entered in and dragged the man out, along with him. They both wanted to kill Michael as they were so irritated with him but they couldn't do it as their boss would kill them if they do anything to Michael.
After losing his little energy that had left in him, Michael fell on his knees as it became hard for him to even stand properly. He turned his face to his right, moving his gaze from his hand to the ceiling. He wanted to break the chains but he didn't understand how to do.
He heard the sound of footsteps approaching the door. Immediately, he stood straight as he was never the one, who would bend in front of anyone in any situation. He waited for the door to open and in a minute, the door pushed open. There stood a man of Michael's height with well built body, dressed in a black shirt and formal pant. His green eyes reflected danger though his chiselled jaw and sharp nose would make anyone attracted towards him. Michael had never seen that man in his life. He looked at him, confused.
The man spoke "Oh, sorry for making you wait. I had to take care of many works before coming here." His lips tugged to a side, giving a smirk to Michael.
Michael shouted "Who the fuck are you?"
"Don't you know me? Oh, yes, how could you?" His voice sounded a little psychotic. He stepped near to Michael and stood in front of him, looking into his eyes. "I'm Rafael. Your brother."
