Rubbing her palms nervously, she kept waiting for him arrive. Everyone in her surroundings was dancing and enjoying, except her, as she had neither Michael with her to enjoy and nor she was in the mood for those things. She had tried a lot to make her manager accept his name in the list. From the moment she heard Guren accepted to attend, she couldn’t control her excitement. Her nervousness was taking on an edge and she couldn’t stop rehearsing how to behave in front of him. She wanted it to happen at whatever cost so she didn’t ask Michael to accompany her to the event as she felt he would spoil it with his attitude.

As soon as he entered, all her officemates walked to him giving him bouquets, welcoming him. Her lips curved up with a wide smile seeing the man, who looked still young even in his forties. As he was Michael’s mother’s mentor, she expected him to be too old but during her research she got to knew he was just seven years older than his mother and got the international recognition at such a small age.

“Wow! He still looks so handsome.” Melisa said admiring his tall muscular figure and the shining deep blue eyes.

He walked forward along with his two security guards grabbing everyone’s attention. As he reached the stage that was arranged for the guests, his gaze fell on Rose, who looked beyond happy with his presence but he ignored her and continued talking to the head of the company. After a few formal introductions and appraisals, the party started and everyone involved in their dance and food while Rose kept finding a way to talk to him.

He was always surrounded by people making it impossible for her to meet him. She was keeping an eye on him always that was noticed by Guren and he excused himself from the people who surrounded him. As he started to walk away, Rose followed him and he stopped suddenly making her tremble. He turned around, asking “You are Rose, aren’t you?”

Her mouth dropped wide open in shock and immediately she nodded her head, replying “Yes!”

“Let’s sit and talk.”

They both sat on the chairs ignoring all the gazes around them. Rose’s legs couldn’t stop shivering and her nervousness in her multiplied many times making her forget the words that she prepared to utter in front of him.

“T-Thank you for your time.” She smiled and he couldn’t avoid his gaze. “H-How do you know my name?” she stammered.

He took a sip of his drink and said “A girl named Rose tried to contact me multiple times, wanted to meet me, tried for my appointment, and a few minutes before, to my surprise, I got to knew the name of the girl who recommended me for this event was Rose.”

She bent her head down a little embarrassed although what she did was nothing wrong.

He continued “You did it intentionally, didn’t you?”

She bit her lips trying to compose herself but his words couldn’t keep her calm.

“Rose! I am too old for you. I am nearly your father’s age.”

Her eyes widened and she raised her head shaking negatively. “No, no, no... sir, it’s not like that... I... I...”

Guren laughed with her tensed state and he said “Relax! You were not speaking anything. Just to make you open your mouth I said that.”

She let out a nervous chuckle and stared at him gathering all the confidence she needed. She spoke “Sir, I need your help.”

“I am listening.” He crossed his arms, giving her all his attention.

“Sir, you have been a good mentor, a teacher, besides a good artist. I know you stopped mentoring people but I really need your help.”

“You want me to guide you?”
