The next day Joseph, Ramiro and Jovita were in school.They were all shocked when they heard the news.The students were questioned by the police.
They told the students to write the names of the bullies in the school and put it the the boxes outside the class rooms. The names the students wrote were Aaron,Kumi, Doreen, Jojo, Theo, Anthony, Jessica and Shine.
The police interrogated all of them.
Aaron's interrogation:
Police: What was the relationship between you and Rose??
Aaron: She was a really good person to me,
She was really smart and pretty. She had always helped me with my homeworks and project works. I wouldn't even think of harming her.
Police: okay. Some of the students have testified seeing you bullying Rose. They have seen you and your gang(The Gods). Insulting her and threatening her.
Aaron: They are lying. I swear I haven't ever harmed Rose.
Police: okay.
All the boys said almost the same thing. Including Kumi.
Then they asked Jessica.
Jessica's interrogation:
Police: Hello Jessica.
Jessica: Hi
Police: how do you feel about everything,about Rose's death.
Jessica: I feel really bad. I was shocked when I heard the news. I was heart broken.
Police: The students said you are one of the big bullies in the school.
And they have seen you and Jojo bullying her. Do you have something to say about that?
Jessica: No. I would never harm such a sweet, kind girl.
Police: okay. You are free to go
They also interrogated Jojo.
But her story was different.
Jojo's interrogation
Police: were you close with Rose?
Jojo: no I wasn't. Rose was a big bully and she hated me so much. She even threatened to kill me.
Police: hmmmm. What else did she do to you??
Jojo: she would spread mashed potatoes on my face. And she would spit on my face.
Police: okay.
The police found this really weird.
9 months passed since the death of Rose and they had buried her. And the police still didn't know who murdered her. But Jovita and Ramiro went to the police station to file a complaint.
They told the police Kumi tried to sexually harass Rose two days before she died.
And Jessica and Jojo sexually Harassed her in the ladies room. The police took this seriously but they had no proof.
Its been a year since Rose died and her father is very lonely. His ex wife, Shawni comes for a visit but he doesn't allow her into his house
because of what she did to him.
Shawni felt really bad for her ex husband.
