The Lost Soul

Chapter 2

Rose woke up in her bedroom at dawn wandering how she ended up there. She thought it was her dad.
She was starving so she went down stairs to grab something to eat. Then she saw the Chinese food her dad had bought for her on the dining table.
It was as if he knew that she was gonna wake up at dawn.
So she ate all the food, washed the plate and went to watch some cartoons on the television.
She felt sleepy again and went back up stairs to sleep.
The next day Rose took a shower and went downstairs but she didn't eat anything because of the Chinese food she had eaten. She still felt full.
She went to her dad's car and she waited for him. When he entered the car they gave each other a bright smile. Mr. White started the engine and drove off.
When he reached the parking lot, Rose got down and waved at her dad as he drove away.
She had gym class in the morning. When she was done, she went to the ladies room to take a shower. Then the girls, Jojo and Jessica came in and shouted at her for using their bath soap. She apologized but these girls wouldn't listen. Jojo held her tightly and Jessica sexually harassed Rose.
Rose was screaming in pain but no one came to help her. She kept on screaming till Jovita came in and hit Jessica with a pan she took from the school's cafeteria.
Jessica stopped and she sent her attention to Jovita who was standing there angrily. Jovita thought of telling the school authority but they wouldn't do anything about it.
She hit Jessica again and held her hair tightly and warned her not to ever harass Rose again.
Jojo let go of Rose and she runned off. Rose was was crying and Jovita felt terribly sorry for her. Because Rose was in pain, Jovita helped her to bath and dress up.
Jovita asked "why cant you tell your dad about what they are doing to you?"
Rose said "I can't. I don't want my dad to suffer because of me."
Jovita said " so are you gonna allow them to keep doing this to you!?, I mean look at you, look at how they have been maltreating you, Rose you need to stand up for yourself. Tell your dad what has been happening and he will change your school".
Rose was worried that her dad won't have enough money to send her to another school.
She thought about this all day.
School ended and her dad came to pick her up.
When they reached home, her dad went to the kitchen to prepare some food for his daughter. As he was cooking, Rose went up stairs to take a shower. She wore her PJ and she went downstairs to eat.
When she was done she washed all the dishes and went to do her homework.
As she was solving her maths she realized that Joseph has not been in school for two days. So she picked up her phone to call him.
She called and called but no one picked up.
She felt a little worried about this. When she was done she went to sleep.
