My eyes watched as the mop fell from my hands and onto the floor. The power and aggression in his voice made my heart hammer against my chest, but I would be damned if I was going to let something as simple as me mopping a floor send me back to my old ways. With a deep breath of composure, I lifted my head from the small puddles of water on the floor and towards Valentino who stood, intimidatingly, in the doorway, a stern look on his face and a blonde woman on his hard. The two of them walked further into the room, making me scrunch up my face as I noticed they still had their shoes on, undoing all the cleaning Lillian and I had done all day.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" I pulled an annoyed face, bending down to pick up the mop with a newfound sense on irritation at their lack of respect. "I'm mopping the floor. Is the mop not a big enough give away?"

As Valentino and the woman sat down on the bar stools, the once refreshing orange smell was replaced by alcohol, that I assumed they had been consuming before they came here. Valentino was dressed in black jeans and a light blue short-sleeved shirt that clung to his biceps. The woman was dressed in a short ruby red dress that had a deep plunge neckline, giving everyone and their son a view of her massive breasts. I wasn't one to judge, if she was happy and comfortable showing them off, then good for her. But that wasn't something I took pride in doing.

I wiped up the splashes of water that coated the floor, noticing three more pairs of shoes walking in. Great, more footsteps ruining our hard work. All anger and irritation drained from my bloodstream and a grin made its way onto my lips as I looked to see Cristian standing there. Safely propping the mop up against the wall, I dodged the spills of water with little jumps and threw my arms around his neck. His chuckle drifted through the air and his arms found their way around my waist, giving me a little squeeze.

"I missed you today." I admitted, as I pulled away from his arms and looked into his shining eyes. "I even had to dress myself. Do you know how difficult that was? Please never leave me alone with millions of clothes and no direction again!"

He took a hold of my hand, making me do a twirl so he could get a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree view of my outfit. The material that hung around my thighs fluttered around in the air as he spun me. "I'm impressed, Sofia. You look stunning, as always." He complimented, making my cheeks go a little red, both from his words and from the feel of eyes scanning me up and down.

My head turned away from Cristian at the sound of heels clinking against the tiled floor. My ears peeked with intrigued, but my heart sunk a little when I saw another girl with light pink hair waltzing over to Valentino and his blonde. Pinked stood behind Valentino and draped her dainty arms over his large shoulders. Her hands crossed over his chest as Blondie began trailing one hand up his arms and caressing his thigh with the other. Valentino's hands remained off of the girls, and instead were knitted together where they rested on the counter top, his upper body turned in the direction and Cristian and I.

There was no denying that Valentino was a very, very, attractive man and there was no doubt that he was short of female attention, but I never pegged him to be such a player. Turns out, I wasn't such a good judge of character. The scene that was playing out before my eyes, of his wrapped up in the arms of not one, but two different girls was conformation enough.

"Sofia." Cristian's voice broke through my small, inconvenient, and unnecessary heartache. "I want you to meet my husband, Isaac. Isaac, this is Sofia." Cristian introduced.

"Oh, my lovely, Sofia." Cristian's husband spoke, causing my head to turn towards him so fast that I almost got whiplash. "The place has not been the same with out you, we've all been missing you like crazy!"

I took in the appearance of the familiar tight black curls that bundled together on the top of his head and the light brown eyes that shone with trust and scepticism. To say I was stunned to see him stood before me, right now, in Valentino's home, was an understatement.
