I woke up to five missed calls and eight messages from Javier 'telling me he has reached home. How I am doing? If I am sleeping? If I enjoyed the date? Why I am not answering him?' And the list goes on.
I really wasn't into the mood of talking to him because his flirtatious attitude is a major problem for me. I got out of bed went to the bathroom to do my lady businesses.
I have one hour to get to work. I took up my phone and call aunty Susan.
"Good morning" she said in a sleepy voice.
"Hey auntie! Did I wake you?" I asked her pouring out orange juice and drinking some.
"Hi sweetie." I could hear her shifting. "No I have not slept yet." She said tiredly.
"OK! How comes? What is wrong? Fighting with uncle Steve again?" I asked her worriedly.
"Ha! Fighting with uncle Steve?" She repeat scarcatic. "No sweetie uncle Steve I bet is worried that I didn't come home." She said and yawns.
"Where are you?" I asked her putting the glass into the sink.
"I am at the office sweetie. Looking over some numbers. And I lost track of time doze off and got up about 2 hours ago trying to figure out some stuffs" I could hear papers shuffling.
Leaning on the fridge I rubbed my forehead.
"Would you like me to love over the books for you?"
"Well you are part owner I guess you should come and take a look at it." She said exhaling.
"Ok. I will come by after work."
"Thank you sweetie." She said and I could hear the smile in her voice knowing she just tricked me to do accounting once again. I smiled.
"Anyways aunt Sue I got to get going I ....."
"Wait. Wait." She said cutting me off.
"So tell me how did your date ended and did you had fun?" I could hear the excitement into her voice.
I exhaled well its best telling her now rather than letting her start planning wedding inside her head.
"Hmmm, it was OK." I told her flatly.
"Just OK? He looked good. And he couldn't kept eyes off you who could you did looked lovely." She said smiling.
"Auntie. It was fun until I saw him flirting with Gayle and god his kiss. Ugh!" I complained.
"Flirting with Gayle. Sweetie Gayle flirts with everyone. Its just her personality." She told me. "The kiss was that bad."
I made up my face remembering the horrible feeling of his mouth and tongue.
"It was so aweful I had to excused myself and ran to the restroom and puked." I heard her gasp. "Yes it was that awful I was relieved when he had to do business and left when he brought me home." Aunt Sue was laughing hysterically. "Oh aunt its serious I like him but the kiss was awful." I told her
"Oh sweetie!" She said trying to calm herself down. "I guess you will have to teach him then but be careful about how you go about doing it."
I exhaled "sorry but aunt Sue I am not that patient to teach him nothing!"
"Well what are you going to do now?" She asked smiling
"I don't know as yet." I said leaning off the ridge walking towards my room.
"Well remember to be honest with yourself dont spend another two years wasting on him to learn. I always telling you that you should date. Not because you are a virgin doesn't mean can't have fun. You are still a virgin right?" She asked and I laughed.
"The last time I checked I am still one I am not married as yet. So still one." I said shaking my head. Poor me.
"Well don't worry think it over and then do what you must OK. I love you."
"I love you too." I told her genuinely. I really do love her she is the only family I have and I am the closest to a daughter she has."I really do have to go now." I told her pulling on my skirt.
"OK sweetie. I will see you later and also your favourite will be prepared." She told me we blow kisses thru the phone before hanging up.I finished getting dress, picked up my stuffs and leave the apartment.
