A few hours later, Elaine reached the place. They were the thickest woods she had ever seen much less fought in.

"He must be hiding her here" she thought as she got down the car and trotted into the woods.

After walking for a while she stopped, sniffing the air and closing her eyes.Suddenly, chills ran down her spine and the hair at the back of her neck stood straight. Her eyes shot open. She was being watched. Another wolf she supposed. It wasn't a familiar scent though.

'Did Felix already know I am here?'She thought, her senses alert.

She waited for a few minutes but no one came out.Elaine wasn't a person with a long thread of patience so it ran out pretty quick.

"I know you're there. Come out!" she yelled pulling out her guns and clicking the safety off . The sun rays were barely seeping through due to the thick canopy.Other than the distant cries of birds, the forest was silent.

'Snap!'

The sound of a dry twig breaking caught her attention. She whipped around to see a black wolf with hazel eyes glaring at her. Elaine immediately got into a fighting stance.

"Did you break that twig to get my attention?" she asked sweetly, a little too sweetly.

"How dare you trespass!" the wolf  roared.

"I.....uh didn't know? " Elaine tried answering, raising an elegant eyebrow.

The wolf bared it's teeth, letting it's saliva drip while it kept glaring at her .Elaine couldn't find another way out of this without a fight. So if a fight is what it wanted, then a fight is what it would get.She raised her gun and aimed it at the wolf. She waited for it to make the first move. The wolf's ears perked up as it heard shuffling and running which ofcourse didn't go unnoticed by Elaine.

"Backup?" she asked him, planning her retreat. She didn't have time to waste on petty fights.

He looked at her asking the same question. However,he was planning the otherwise of a retreat it would seem, judging by the way he was crouching. He was about to pounce on her when he was tackled by another wolf that came running out of the woods like a blur, with a group following closely behind.Elaine stood there contemplating the best course of action.

A lady from the group came up to Elaine and asked with genuine concern in her eyes "Are you alright dear?"

"Yeah..."Elaine replied, still dazed and unsure of what to make of the situation.

"That's enough Hector!" the woman yelled at the two wolfs, currently engaged in a bloodthirsty fight.

The  blurred wolf which now revealed to be a tanned wolf ,had tackled the black wolf and was delivering series of punches while the black wolf barely managed to defend.

'Hector' Elaine supposed the name of the tanned wolf .

Hector didn't stop when the woman asked him to.Clearly, he was too immersed in beating the crap out to care. He kept punching the now unconscious wolf.

"How dare you speak in that tone with our alpha's daughter!" Hector roared.

"Hector! Honey, will you stop?" She asked smiling tightly.

The sound of bones cracking and grunts were echoing in the forest but something different was echoing in Elaine's mind 'Our alpha's daughter'.Elaine watched as black bled into the eyes of the woman.

"Hector!" she roared, the wolf in her beginning  to surface.

The man snapped out of his trance or rather rage and looked at her.He immediately ran back into the woods, dragging the other wolf along with him.
