Making it home she put out her cigarette and threw her bike down beside her small garage.
Her house wasn't a two story like the other loser. She had a one story home made out of bricks and painted brown and red with the door nob a dirty gold.
Willow opened the door slightly squeezing thru the tight space and closing it slightly. Then, she took off her muddy white boots and set them beside the door.
"Willow?" A deep voice spoke as willow froze.
"Shit" she muttered until her breath.
"The street lights are already on why are you home so late?"
"Sorry. something came up."
"Right. something so serious you would pass up an awesome breakfast with you good 'ol dad." Her dad spoke walking over to willow. "I made French toast"
He smiled an unsettling smile wrapping an arm around his daughter leading her to the kitchen.
"So you gonna tell what was so important?"
"Right." Willow paused trying to find the right words to say. "Since Ben was in town we decided to go for ice cream that's all."
"Till six pm?"
"We went to the arcade after."
"Right." Her father spoke. "You we're with those boys weren't you?"
Willow stayed silent.
He scoffed pulling out a beer from the fridge. "Why can't you hang out with girls for once Will? What happened to Greta?"
"We don't talk anymore." Willow said silently placing her head on the counter.
"Well what are you gonna do all summer? Mess around with those boys? Or hang out with your dad."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean we could go out to eat or go to the zoo and see some wild life!"
Willow smiled as she got up "right."
Adventuring upstairs willow smiled Her dad never suggested to do anything with her before.
"Sleep on it?" Her dad shouted
"Goodnight dad."
Making it to her room full of posters willow took her hair out of the ponytail it was in and sat on her bed.
She glanced a paper on her wall which had the number of Beverly marsh previously given to her on the last day of school.
Picking up the phone willow carelessly called the number looking around the room nervously.
"Hello?" The redheads voice echoed thru willow's ear
Willow froze as she caught her breath opening her mouth to speak.
"Hello?" She said again.
Then she hung up.
Shit
Willow flopped back on her bed sighing putting her hand on her face as it steamed a dark red.
Willow had never felt like this around a girl before.
She never she could.
Getting up the peachy sunset shined thru her window hitting the back of her neck.
Aching to close the blinds a red balloon with the words 'I ♥︎ DERRY' appeared in-front of her just floating in her backyard.
"What the hell?"
Soon another made an appearance then a series more popping up in her backyard.
Once they stopped one caught her eye. it read, 'CALL HER WILL'
Willow's eyes widen in fear as they all popped like a gunshots.
"What are you doing willow?" Her dad yelled from downstairs "I thought I heard a gunshot."
"It was just my record player" willow responded "I left it on full blast"
Looking back at the window there was nothing but grass. No popped balloons.
Nothing.
Willow shook it off closing the blinds of her bedroom window.
